Ah, yes and all the gay trans men who perished with them. So many teenage girls clamoring to be and have sex with gay men back then. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. I know a transwoman who is only attracted to women. He had an article written about him where he is applauded for being HIV negative despite the statistics. Dumbasses. Males are not likely to catch HIV from females sexual partners. The only reason transwomen are known to be victims of the AIDS epidemic is because most of transwomen in the 80's were homosexual. He is co-opting the gay struggle and it's ridiculous

People talk like this was far off in the past but it's still affecting this generation of gay guys.

I was just watching a YouTube video of a young gay man having a conversation with his Dad. The dad was apologizing for not knowing how to react when his son first showed signs of being gay. The dad said he used to have a close friend who was gay who he would've asked for advice, but he had died of AIDS.
