These girls are woefully unprepared for how gay men interact with each other. However in my experience gay guys seem to treat trans men with kids gloves , which means they don't really see them as gay men. Otherwise they'd have no issues telling them to take their macro clit roast beef sandwiches somewhere else & fuck off.

I've been thinking that these girls are reacting to misogyny from boys their own age who have been watching porn from childhood and who probably scare them.

Gay men get portrayed as gentle and sweet, accepting and welcoming. These girls get attracted to gay men because they're men who won't hurt them. Mix in the crazy gender cult, and here we are.

Little do they know that gay men are just like straight men, but gay.

As I learned when I pined for a heterosexual friend, no amount of wishing this or that were so is ever going to make things magically fall into place for me. I had a harsh realization that my interest in him was becoming obsessive and unhealthy, all over something that could not ever truly work.

The suspension of disbelief you'd need to not only overcome your orientation, but to act as if nothing unusual is going on! Unfortunately, this person, and probably many others like her, have disorders such as BPD which make for all sorts of magical thinking scenarios.

I mean that is a pretty massive generalization. Sure there are plenty of instances where gay men are depicted as "safe" in some wider pop culture that said people often bring up fiction as a big reason for why some people come up with these ideas they are another sex. Anyone who has spent time going through yaoi or MLM fics knows how common rape and other forms of morally dubious acts are commonly depicted. You got a mix of both people writing stuff like this but women seem heavily drawn to it.

It's not much different than other fantasies such as AGP you just want to be what you are attracted to or you have other issues with self esteem, your body etc where it allows for you to self interest into a fantasy world. Not saying women also haven't been drawn to those more innocent depictions and that is becoming more often associated with said fiction but it's hardly a universal thing and in my experience it's pretty divided amongst women into it.

To argue every women is into gay men because they feel less threatened I don't really always agree that is the case. It's pretty easy to attribute it to the same reason many MTF claim a lesbian identity and want to sleep with lesbians. They are attracted both to the fantasy cooked up in their mind and the sense of validation that will help their sense of self image.

i cant help but think these girls have such a deluded, romanticized view of the gay male dating scene. like, are you sure you want to be a part of that, aiden? because i guarantee it's nothing like you've built it up to be in your head. gay men can be just as big of assholes as straight men. so i'd just stick to the straight men, honestly.

Imagine being so dysfunctional that instead of a healthy relationship based on love, you view a potential partner only in terms of how you can receive emotional validation from them.

Hell, I know gay guys who can't cope without being in a relationship and obsess over their relationship status without ever learning to be happy as they are. That kind of I NEED TO BE IN A RELATIOSHIP NOW thinking always leads to dysfunctional relationships.
