I don't follow him but with my tangential attention to him i had thought that there was a huge drama over him hooking up with some guy who was trying to pretend to be straight then it turned out he was like slightly underage or something but i thought it was still close in age and within age of consent.

There's actually a ton of guys who have come forward with allegations, and some proof he knew they were underage. At one point, he says he's "only attracted to younger guys, as young as I can--18" plus all these minors coming forward with allegations and screenshots. All his friends are minors as well.
