I find it interesting how one AGP points out that if a teenage boy starts jerking off while thinking about woman's clothing, if he goes on the internet with questions, he'll almost immediately be told he's a transbian and encouraged to feed this compulsion full-time. Whereas if this same boy grew up in the 90s, he'd just be a functional adult man with a crossdressing fetish in private.

That's a HUGE difference between then and now, and is definitely true from what I've experienced. I grew up fairly isolated, but when I was more active and out in the world in the 2000s, hetero AGPs weren't accepted in LGB spaces because everyone recognized it was a fetish thing. It was "you do you, but don't do it here, not the right place". You could find them in sex and bondage clubs, but not in strictly LGB spaces.
