<But I want them to be attracted to my feminine attributes. Why get breast implants or a BBL for them to only want my penis? Why not just get a man?>

It's this one, just so you know. No end is necessary. Just this (no quotes):

From the looks of the OP and the comments, this trans woman seems to actually have a grip on reality. Whenever u do come across a reasonable trans person they’re most likely HSTS so no surprise there.

He understands that men who are specifically attracted to his dick and would not be attracted to him if he surgically inverted it are not straight, so he has some level of self-awareness and self-respect. He isn’t depending on a house of cards to validate himself and others to conform their identities to prop up his. Props to him. It is actually funny to see that comment justifying these men whose main requirement in a partner is “penis” as totes straight and then the OP being like “well obv they’re not.”

But the answer to his question about why these men are going for him specifically and not other men if “penis” not feminine artificial secondary sex characteristics is the deal-breaker is pretty obvious and he basically answers his own question: they have a specific fetish for feminized male bodies (as he guesses) and/or they want to maintain the image, identity, and label of being heterosexual when they’re plainly not. And in AGB they of all people should know the social pressures against appearing outwardly gay or bisexual. Anyone commenting there who acts as if those pressures aren’t there has my immediate suspicion.

I also re-read to see if he indicated his belief of whether it’s possible for a man actual straight man to be attracted to him, but he really didn’t indicate one way or another and leaves that open. He just said he wants someone to be specifically attracted to his feminine attributes, so he is not the type who is saying he wants “cishet” men only for validation.

Huge cognitive dissonance here:

As a gay cis male I'm attracted to trans men but the gentiles have nothing to do with it. In fact I'm actually more towards bottom and would be completely fine being fucked with a strap on.

I think because there is so much attention paid to a specific part of the body which happens to be a penis there is definitely some bisexuality they are having issues accepting.

A choice response rife with oxymorons:

Yes it might be the case that those men are straight, actually. Heterosexuality is being attracted to someone of the opposite gender.

Although the men who claim to have attraction towards trans-women can have varied identities and self identifiers, it's mostly men who identify as heterosexual (and usually date or register attraction towards cis women)

The obvious reason ? trans-women are women. No matter what the anatomy of genitals, majority of the men who claim to have almost exclusive or somewhat exclusive same gender attraction are not attracted to the opposite gender. Hence, not to trans-women.

Yes, trans-women have penis, but it's attached to a woman. Enjoying being the recipient in penetration (whether oral or anal) has nothing to do with sexual orientation. But with whom it's being performed, that might be indicative of sexual orientation. There are absolutely, men, who enjoy being pegged by their female partners but are exclusively heterosexual (do not experience attraction to the same gender or a wish to ever engage sexually or romantically with same gender)

It's just the societal emphasis on cis-het penetration as such, that restrictively defines the active (penetrator) and passive (recipient) gender roles and the ubiquitous practise of “gendered-sexuality” Now, having discussed all that, there might be good chances of these men being in denial (discordance). Cuz no matter how far we've progressed, the stigma, hostile prejudice etc. still exists, till date, stopping people from being their authentic selves.

They don't want to be seen as gay, like, period. That's why most of them identify themselves accordingly.

The obvious reason ? trans-women are women. No matter what the anatomy of genitals, majority of the men who claim to have almost exclusive or somewhat exclusive same gender attraction are not attracted to the opposite gender. Hence, not to trans-women.

They're heterossexual men with a fetish, that's it.

They don't see them as chicks, but as chicks with dicks which is a crucial difference that they hate, and I mean hate.
