Looking like something doesn't mean you are that thing. If plastic fruit looks delicious, does that make it edible? If people mistook Rita Ora for being black/mixed, does that mean she is? Are drag queens actually women because some of them pass? And what happens to the argument when a group of non-passing transmen are photographed? Do we reach the opposite conclusion?

They will never do so because all of this is propaganda and these FtMs are just products being marketed by a snake oil salesmen.

I know most people here already know this, but just to reiterate: TRAs don't give a shit about disphoric people.

Think about it: they're presenting 'top tier' transitions as the norm, which inevitable will create unrealistic spectations.

I was about to say. Parading this picture is disrespectful to most trans men. Most real men will never achieve that level, much less people with female bodies to begin with. Wouldn’t this be a dysphoria trigger knowing you could never look like that? That whole tweet is fucked up

Also: someone on the thread pointed out that at least some of those models only seem to have girlfriends. So the “turn heads in a gay bar” comment is even more funny

The FtMs that pass better are generally HSTS, so this is not a surprise at all.

Same goes for the MtF ones.
