I thought the 'A' was for 'asexual'. Or 'allies'.

But yeah, it's ridiculous to see people (mainly men, lets face it) framing their sexual choices as an immutable sexual orientation. The worst part is, people are buying it. I was browsing Reddit the other day and some woman was complaining about how she put up with her boyfriend's cheating because she thought he was 'poly'. Then he replaced her with the other woman and she was SHOCKED!

Christ, you're not 'oppressed' just because people won't endorse sexual behaviour that objectifies others.

"Poly". What's wrong with "promiscuous"? Lol. "Yo, I'm prom."

'A' should only stand for the Aces, since they are a sexuality.

'Poly'amorous is such a new age scam. No one likes sharing their SO; It's human nature. Anyone who thinks it's okay should try being on the losing end of it. I agree that cheating "objectifies others", like you said; It objectifies them to a Disposable Piece of Garbage.

Hook up culture and dating apps are basically ready made for the sociopaths incapable of love, so wtf are they whining about?

Well... They also want to be considered stunning and brave for being their authentic selves.

Is this satire or unironic? I honestly can't tell. If the latter, they are self-parodying.

Satire but Stonewall UK put out far worse on aromantics.

Good to know but I would believe you if you told me this was an unironic post. The world is that crazy now.

The fuck? Aromantic more like someone who just love one night stands.

To be fair if not for the ridiculousness of the existence of "asexual spectrum" I wouldn't have to be put together with these freaks just because I have to specify that while I am asexual I am automatically aromantic so completely not interested in sexual/romantic relationships with people.

Wait-- they're all gay or bi? The Oakland A's???

... oh. Well, being part of the LGBTQWTF makes as much sense for an entire baseball team as for "aromantics"!
