Fred Sargeant was also one of the organizers of the first Gay Pride Parade in 1970, along with Craig Rodwell, Ellen Brody, and Linda Rhodes . . . you know, the gay men and lesbians so inconvenient to the TQ+ narrative.

It shows though that we all need to do that to shut this shit down. Most of it is already illegal if we just assert our rights.

Defamation isn't illegal. It's a tort, at least in the US. That means that if someone lies about you in a way that is meant to damage your reputation, you can sue, but that's different from a crime which the police will take care of. A lawsuit requires lawyers, and those aren't cheap.

That's true. But most of the cases I've seen of egregious violations of the law have happened in professions where people make more than enough money to afford lawyers. The wealthy should stand up for their rights and take out these crazies so that the burden on lower income people isn't even higher.

A lot of the LGB veterans are getting up there in age. I feel like the TQ+ is just biding time until they can successfully rewrite history so no one who actually lived through those events are around anymore to challenge it.

The way shit is going, there is gonna have to be a brand new wave of LGB and women's rights movements, because if sex-segregated spaces are dismantled and sexual orientation is considered a "genital preference", we're back to square one.
