Anything less than rushing a kid to drugs and hormones immediately is "conversion therapy". Having a trained therapist talking t a confused or troubled kid about why they think they're in the wrong body- treating dysphoria as the psychiatric issue it is- is "conversion therapy". It's sick, and so is the way Attitude magazine deliberately conflates "sexuality and gender" as if they're the same thing. It's deceitful, they know what they're doing, Bastards.

I don't know how the UK government and Stonewall, etc., are getting away with this attack on primarily gay children's mental and physical health given that the UK is where the push back against gender ideology seems to have started.

Unfortunately, the push against gender ideology has only just gotten started in the UK. On the bright side, that means you’re ahead of places like America, Canada and Ireland. But there is still a lot of work to do, and a long way to go.

I'm in the US, and some US states, well, the Republicans in some US states, have started pushing laws to save women's sports and stop minors from being able to transition.

It happened in a rush after Biden was elected - suddenly there was a GOP avalanche of proposed legislation. I'm not sure why the Republicans waited to propose these laws because I think that saving women's sports and stopping kids from cutting off their breasts and being chemically castrated would have made a great wedge issue for the GOP in the 2000 elections.

I guess the GOP didn’t think the Dems would go that far. Or maybe they knew they would go that far, but needed it to get that far in order for the general population to understand the gravity of the situation and start demanding that the GOP pushback. Or maybe they needed an opportunity to start shilling for votes. Politicians are cynical.

The Republicans of this current era usually don't care about women (they pretty much never did), nor do they care about their constituents, but I must say that I think that a few Republican politicians seem to be genuinely concerned and/or horrified by the ramifications of gender ideology.

However, as we've seen with Republican governors vetoing save women sports and banning minor transitioning bills after corporate threats, most Republican politicians are still willing to sell out women and kids to the highest bidder.

Republicans care more about big corporations than they do about anything else. They’ll even sell out America for profit, despite claiming to patriots. Well, they’re not patriots anyway, considering that they are willing to send young Americans to die on Middle Eastern soil to stick it to countries that have got nothing to do with America, rather than keep American troops in America to ensure that America never gets invaded.
