I 100% agree. These types drive me fucking batty. Plus, since there are more bisexuals than homosexuals, their voices drown out those of actual homosexuals, so this fake definition of homosexuality becomes popularized. Bisexuals doing this is a huge problem and honestly is not recognized by the bi community at large. It's hand-waved by hets and some bis as "sexuality is fluid1!1!", but when the issue is brought up among sane bi people, they feel it's scapegoating. In my eyes, bi people are the majority of useful idiots behind this ideology. I'm not blaming all bi people, but the majority of people that do this are bi (though they usually lean heavily towards one sex) and it's not offensive to say so. Most heterosexuals don't get involved in something like this unless they have a fetish or are very young and trying to look cool.

Yeah I totally agree with you and I also agree that while a lot of bi people are doing this, it’s not all of them. I’ve talked with a few DropTheT bisexuals through online spaces and they all express a great deal of frustration and betrayal at other bisexuals pushing these homophobic narratives.

True. A lot of people take issue with the word biphobia, but it's because it's so often misused. Bi people do experience homophobia, and it's just wrong to call that biphobia. Biphobia is the negative stereotypes against bi people.

True, but they still get defensive and perceive it as a personal attack sometimes. I said something about it in s/bisexuals (all of them come from this sub, otherwise they wouldn't be on saidit) and the person who said I was scapegoating was upvoted and I was not. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

That's a mischaracterization of that convo!

I don't have an issue with you, but I'm not a fan of being shadily alluded to as if I was out of line in some way talking to you. You didn't need to write that.

I don't think it is. Would you prefer I @ you next time?
