Fantastic ad. It exposes the TRA madness to the mainstream and doesn't obscure what's going on

David Paisley is on the case, calling into question the LGBA's charity status of course, claiming this is "hate". Stupid, evil little shit that he is.

He is way to invested in this. Someone should check his computer....

I wish they didn't add the call to vote at the end. I hate how the usual suspects use this as ammo to get their charity status revoked. I'm not too well versed in the laws/rules for charity orgs, but people say they aren't allowed to do political campaigning. Could this have consequences for LGBA or are the TRAs just spouting one-sided nonsense again?

It is just a vote icon, it doesn’t actually say who to vote for or even voting at all.

I saw people mention upcoming elections in Scotland and a connection could be construed somehow... anyway, I don't even see how charity orgs can be absolutely apolitical. Aren't trans orgs aggressively commenting on politics and laws all the time? And who could forget the time Mermaids tried to pin trans deaths on JK Rowling. This didn't affect their charity status either, so if a non-specific call to vote somehow gets LGBA in trouble I don't even know anymore.

Pink News are ranting about this, with all the usual lies and misinformation.

I appreciate parts of the message, but have a couple concerns.

1) As several other people have observed before, LGB Alliance seems to often pick fights to battle that don't have anything to do with gay/bisexual people's rights. Is this ad about women's sex-based rights... or about all same sex attracted people's rights? I think the ad may be a persuasive one for women's same-sex rights but gives a poor case for how the transgender movement is perpetuating homophobia towards lesbian women. All I know from this ad is that gay women are being banned from apps for refusing to date male transwomen... which is true but it's just one specific type of homophobia, among many others which are not mentioned.

2) Oversimplification of how these issues play out in politics. E.g. saying "Go vote!" with no description of who to vote for or what policies are harmful.

It's attention-grabbing on the main issues prior to the elections today.
