It’s almost like trans peoples’ sense of identity relies solely on other people playing along and one small group of people refusing to do so is seen as a direct attack on said identity...

It's 2021, and gays and lesbians are condemned for forming their own alliance. Unbelievable. What other groups in the world are attacked like this? It's called the right of assembly. "Pride" whatever the fuck that is now, is an actively anti-gay organization. Making money off us while they attack us. Crazy.

How dare LGB people have their own space dedicated to being same sex attracted? The funny thing is trans people who are same sex attracted aren't even excluded but I guess it hurts so bad the topic can't center around them being TRANS.

Jesus, the crying and wailing and hand-waving is ridiculous. They completely ignore that trans people can be LGB because of sexual orientation. LGB Alliance UK hasn't refuted that at all, and accept and acknowledge it.

The group, started in 2019, says it was set up in a bid to 'advance the interests of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals'.

Well, duh. It's a charity for LGB, not TQ+ identities.

Manchester Pride has not signed the letter but the pride organisation said it 'stands in solidarity' with trans and non-binary people.

“We aren’t members of the group and were not approached to add our name to this letter,” Manchester Pride tweeted.

So STFU then? No one asked you, not your business.

I'm not back 100% yet, but am finally able to get some time to jump in occasionally. I'm hoping things will get back to normal in the near future. I haven't been at home regularly for a really long time, I just want to sleep in my own bed and cuddle with my dog without worrying about all the things I have to do and leaving the next day again.

It's the same when they cry about "trans girls being banned from sports!1!1" when they're just being required to play with the boys.

Yeah, they like to ignore that boys/mens sports is inclusive for all - even girls/women if we want to.

They don't want inclusiveness, they want domination.

    We do not promote or encourage harm towards anyone else, mkay. It certainly doesn't help our cause, but it also dehumanizes trans people, while enabling transition/conversion therapy and normalizing it.

    I hope you won't sink to their level. But if you do, don't use our sub to do so.
