This is so creepy, I'd love to hear the mom's side of it too.

I mean, even IF she was the trashiest most obnoxious mom in the world ... THAT'S HER KID. If you're concerned about a child's safety, alert the authorities, don't get in-between them and block their access to each other like a kidnapper.

I was just re-reading this part:

I noticed a fear in her voice and she went wide-eyed when her mom pulled up. I asked again if she was really okay and she started crying. Her mom gets out of the car and yells at her to get in.

It never even occurred to this man that the little girl may have been scared by a stranger continually talking to her while she's all alone waiting for her mom.

This woman started screaming the girl’s name and tried putting her into the car. I held the girl back because the woman was getting more upset and more handsy.

This mom can get as goddamn upset and handsy as she wants when she's pulling HER CHILD away from a stranger.

There probably is no mom, this whole story is most likely completely made up. I feel like there's no way this wouldn't have gotten some media coverage if this scenario had really gone down the way he's described. Like a transwoman getting brutally assaulted in public to the point that he ended up in a coma? No way the liberal media wouldn't have been all over this story.

If there's any truth to this story at all, I'm guessing what really happened is that he was being creepy to a little kid and the mom rightfully told him to get lost. At most she maybe threatened to pepper spray him if he didn't fuck off. Idk though, the whole thing about the kid being left alone because it was raining, it feels like that was just the best scenario he could come up with for the kid being left alone. It seems like kind of a flimsy excuse. It's sort of funny though, he's trying to paint the mother as this horrible abusive bitch, yet she apparently cares enough to not want to make her child walk through the rain. Like wow, what an "abusive" mother, going to get the car so her child doesn't have to walk in the rain and get all wet. What a monster, truly.

Unless that wasn't the actual story. News checks it out, calls the mom who says this dude was trying to coerce her daughter who texted her mom to come save her from this creepy dude. Shows receipts of text messages. "Yeah... we can't cover this. And that's a woman, you should learn to respect pronouns, you know."

I kind of doubt the whole story too. You'd think there would be some criminal investigation of assault if he ended up in a coma with a brain injury.

IKR?! Having actually been a little girl, it would have really unnerved me then to have had a man come up to me when I was just waiting for my mom to pull the car around and start asking me if I'm "O.K." Especially if you're a shy kid, which I was. Another thing: in this day and age, I only talk to minors I don't know if their parent is right there. Like if I'm sitting on a park bench and a little kid with a balloon sits down with his mom: "Oh, that's a pretty balloon. Did you get it from the store?" That kind of thing, and that's it. And even that's rare for me - usually I just do the quick friendly smile, and then go about my business. This guy? Again, oblivious.

The self-awareness of this person reminds me of this video.

Warning: NSFL.

I'm way too chicken for NSFL. I've learned my lesson over the years {{flashbacks of goatse and tubgirl}}. I'll take your word for it!

I took one for the team and watched.

I'm not familiar with what "Salad Fingers" is as a series or genre or whatever ... but this particular video is an animation. It's creepy and disturbing, demonstrating the insanity of the mind of a violent psychopath, but no gore (unless you count cartoon blood).
