The issue is that the good parents are being demonised for refusing to play along with their childrens' delusions, so they adhere to the new social norms so that they're not seen as a 'bad parent' or bigot. I can't fathom why a group of people who despise their natural femininity would want to present themselves in a feminine manner, which would also make them prone to being misgendered (as feminine trans men just look like women without breasts, let's be real...). whats the point of obsessing over gay relationships like that if theyre just going to translate the traditional heterosexual dynamics on to them? In so many animes written by these people, it's so typically filled with box toxic masculinity AND toxic masculinity that no gay person would allow. I've read some of these mangas and found them to be strange until someone explained to me that it was created by women. I have the same feeling when I see non-binary she/theys, who look like average girly girls to me. This just pisses me off because it reminds me of a certain sense of shame I had for not performing feminity like most of my female classmates but instead I pretty much avoided makeup and styled hair to avoid being girly. I generally had issues with feminity and I often envied boys and basically wanted to be "one of the boys" instead of being seen as just an object of having crushes on instead of seeing me just as their pal. I still hate the idea of being girly so it's fucking insane to me you see your average girly full on makeup Jessica saying she actually isn't a woman and her pronouns are she/they or they/them. It horribly pisses me off. I somehow feel somehow trolled or even mocked? It's hard for me to explain it.

This makes me think how I roll my eyes at one FtM who considers herself to be "gay as fuck" while the only thing she did was having top surgery. Exactly, there's nothing special about it. Unfortunately though a lot of kids online for the past several years have parroted this trope that being straight is "boring or uncool". Everyone trying to make themselves queer and non-cis are just doing it for the attention it gets them in the modern day social climate.

None of them are actually non-cis/hetero and the majority of them are either minors (14-18) or very young adults (always younger than 25) from what I've seen on Twitter and elsewhere online.
