I've seen for myself how early heteronormative conditioning starts for young children

Is she trying to say people are conditioned to be straight? By inane stuff like goofy baby clothing, no less? Is she then implying she wants her child to be conditioned to be gay or am I reading too much into a poor word choice?

Its not an unheard of idea, I've seen other people express and go off about it.

I've heard people whining about "heteronormativity" (or "not everything is about me and I cannot cope") but this is the first time I've ever seen someone using the word "conditioning" on the left side of the horseshoe. I guess it was only a matter of time.

I know a few people who go on and on about "heteronormativity" and every time I'm just like "they're 99.9% of the population, of course you're going to see shit catered to them 99.9% of the time"

I seriously don't know what's up with these people. My best friend is a straight guy and that's never been a problem. Aside from my boyfriend, everyone else in my life is straight. Why the fuck is it such an issue? They're the primary sexual demographic of humanity. Fucking deal with it already, christ.

Baffles me that some of these same people say that postmodernism is bad, whilst complaining that we have a cursory association between colors and gender roles.
