I don't mind straight actors playing LGB roles, provided they're respectful and not a parody or broad strokes stereotype. For example, James Corden in that new musical about lesbians is a nightmare.

Also, from what I remember, Lee Pace was outed by Ian McKellen, which was coincidentally the moment I stopped respecting that man; just because you're comfortably and openly gay, Ian, doesn't mean others are.

ohh ok. maybe it was someone else then idk. honestly i get all these male celebs and their stories confused. i thought matt bomer and henry cavill were the same person for the longest time and thought the superman actor was gay because of it lmfao.

It was the Flash, I think, but they stopped talking about it surprisingly quick when they realised no-one gave a shit about a gay actor playing the Flash.
