I felt a profound void when this website was inaccessible. It is important to have a place to discuss these topics without reprimand or judgment. Losing this space, although temporarily, reminded me of how deeply disturbed i felt when we lost so many of our communities on reddit. The void reminded me that without you here, I feel alone in this chaos. Anyways, thank you for having a critical thought process, and thank you for keeping me sane. This world feels like it's on fire.
Homosexuals are males or females that are attracted to the same sex. Sex is a real, immutable biological reality. You cannot change your sex. Gender is a social construct. Wearing a dress doesn't make you a female, and shooting yourself up with hormones and growing a beard doesn't make you a male.

And to those that disagree, "war is peace freedom is slavery ignorance is strength"

Why did it go down? I keep reading conflicting things, like missed payment, saidit's host decided to drop them, I heard the FBI was involved? Apparently there's a lot of Nazism on the site?

M7 shared that it was a billing issue.

I recommend users get out of this sub sometimes, and pay attention to other subs where Admins post, at least. s/SaidIt is the most reliable for it, although it's also used as "whatever I want to rant towards SaidIt" and/or "suggestions for the Admins" at times. I wish it were different, but eh, not my site to run.

And yes, there can be nasty stuff out there on the interwebz, including this site. Other people have different opinions that we may not like or agree with. Admins take care of the illegal stuff, but for the rest ... well, free speech for us means free speech for them too.

I think the official statement from Magnora7 indicated a server problem, and he'd been out of town. We'll never know for sure. I, too, felt like there was no community left. At least, not a community where people could have unfiltered, nuanced discussions. Facebook and Twitter aren't the place for that, and Ovarit is idealogically rigid.

Circles are mostly separated based on different feminist issues or quotes like with "Name the Problem". In most cases it is pretty clear what is where, at least for feminist.

Some admins there are too strict on what to post where, which can be annoying - especially as they can't move thread from one circle to another and just removing it, so it can be lost if poster not saved copy somewhere.

Before the site was redirected to the saiditnet subreddit it showed that it was connecting to cloudflare so I don't know how those rumors started.

If my account gets permanently suspended, I'll log into another one. Reddit only seems to shadowban VPN/proxy/Tor users. I used Tor via the Adguard app and was shadowbanned 3 times... turned it off, now I'm good. Two Redditors stopped talking to me because I kept getting suspended. One woman was like "you're so immature for your age." 😂 AS IF!
