So this guy, from his post history, comes from and lives in a homophobic country, with homophobic parents, relatives and friends, only has access to an underground gay community where gay men are routinely harassed and targeted for abuse, he "feels like a creep" for having a high sex drive as a gay man, and has body self-image issues where he doesn't think his features are attractive, and everyone is supposed to applaud and celebrate when he says he's no longer gay and is actually a straight woman????? Hell world

Well, here is some good news... someone came to their senses. 👏🏾

I think I might actually be a butch lesbian instead of a trans guy - https://www.reddit.com/r/actuallesbians/comments/mv03uo/i_think_i_might_actually_be_a_butch_lesbian/

She’s still in a den of wolves. In normal times among halfway normal people she would be told none of those things make her not a woman, that womanhood does not equate to femininity, and that also how she may want to present or style herself may change over time and that’s normal and OK and doesn’t mean she needs to redefine herself.

You're absolutely right. But I'll take these freaks saying "being a nonbinary lesbian is valid!" and not trying to convince her she's Actually A Man as a win. The bar is lower than the Earth's core right now but that's where I'm at currently.

Totally. Let us claim small victories. I just wish the child groomers hadn’t invented the concept of a “gender journey” (how is gender innate and immutable again and why should we encourage irreversible procedures?) to normalize situations like this and prevent people from straying too far from the cult. On a positive note, I am proud that a young woman was able to cut through enough bullshit to recognize herself as a butch lesbian and not a trans man. But even the r/butchlesbians sub they directed her too seems to be by and for men who think their claim to be literal lesbians is less ridiculous if they call themselves “butch” and full of people encouraging young butch lesbians to what double mastectomies even for just casual aesthetic reasons. I would hate for her to go there and think “wait, these aren’t my people either” and come to the conclusion she’s not a butch lesbian either.

Also your username cracks me up because “Lesbian Barbie” is what I joke to my girlfriend that her type is.

oh i agree with you, r/butchlesbians is a cesspool of men, and she's still very much entrenched in the gender world. but these realizations are gradual. nobody wakes up from the gender nonsense immediately, it's a process. the fact that she was able to accept she's a butch lesbian even AFTER she started transitioning is a good sign.

and also, lol, glad someone appreciates my username as much as i do! It's bc i used to make my barbie dolls "get married" to each other as a kid. My mom got me a ken doll too and i turned him into one of my blonde barbie's brother. she said "that's barbie's boyfriend!" and I was like "??? no it's her brother? they even look alike??" LOL

Exactly. Wtf is this non-binary gender bs? Being a butch woman was fine and accepted as a thing for decades. I don't get it... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why all the nonsensical "gender" responses though? All of these people responding with the non-binary nonsense, when dressing "masculine" used to just be considered tomboy or butch. Why do they have to claim to be a different gender? Being a more masculine lesbian woman has been a known thing for a long time....

It's like extra steps and labels made to just confuse people. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Huh, a comment announcing acceptance of conversion therapy and only positive comments with ten times the usual number of AGB upvotes... yeah this wasn’t brigaded at all...
