Twitter functions as a censorship arm for the American left, and that left is homophobic, there's no way around it anymore. There is currently no legal framework in the U.S. to punish social media companies for political suppression and censorship ☹️

There are glimmers of hope on the horizon, such as Justice Thomas's recent legal opinion eviscerating Section 230 protections, but that is essentially an invitation for interested parties to sue Twitter and the like so we'll be waiting years for the results.

One of the things that most pisses me off about this is how left-wingers suddenly become massive corporate rights advocates as soon as social media companies come up. They'll quite happily talk about how monopolies on newspapers and TV news has negative effects and need regulating , but as soon as social media comes up then its all "private companies can do whatever they want".

They're totalitarians, they can't hold on to power without suppressing dissent.

They want freedom for themselves, restrictions for their enemies. Look at the asymmetrical enforcement of various laws and regulations about protests these days.

Yes, it's all "Bring down capitalism and evil corporations!" until those corporations do something they like.

And it's so short sighted too. I don't think they're going to be whining "private companies can do what they like" when it's someone they like who gets deplatformed.

They really didn’t like that he, being an actual primary source to Stonewall, was saying that MPJ wasn’t there etc.

This reply is spot on. How dare this evil cis white gay man invalidate their hero who, LBR is barely even a real person at this point.

Yes, it's all "Bring down capitalism and evil corporations!" until those corporations do something they like.

Fucking hypocrites, but what's new

Fred Sargeant is dangerous to the gender mob because he was actually at Stonewall and so can refute their Founding Story of the Birth of lgbTQ i.e., Trans Woman of Color Threw The First Brick.

So of course the genderists have to deplatform Sargeant.

I have never had a Twitter, and never will...and at this point if you DO have one, and I hate to say this with such finality, you are part of the problem. Our broken courts have decided there is to be no oversight to the level of power, influence and control these companies can possess so the only way to 'kill' them is to bleed them of their userbase.

I know a lot of people use Twitter, I know it makes some things easier and nobody likes to break their norms, but if you have an account you NEED to drop it and find another method of online communication, otherwise...what's the point of complaining about them when YOU are giving them that power?

"Hateful conduct" is code for disapproved speech on Twitter. Misgendering is a common reason for bans on Twitter.

To my knowledge no one took a screenshot of the actual tweets.

People have been permanently suspended for saying "i don't know dude" or "sex is real and immutable" or in my case i had a suspension for saying something like "you can't just call anyone transphobic who speaks up for women. Pro women is not anti trans"
