Why invade and take over another sub? Ffs why can’t these gender queers just build a sub of their own instead? Their like a virus

Well at least it's not just women having their subreddits overrun by cross-dressers. I wish people could just wear clothes without making it about gender woo-woo and "queer fashion", it's so regressive.

Looking at that sub, lol. My first thought as a 34 year old gay in a small city in the Midwest was "so that's how people in NYC are dressing nowadays, yikes!" Men wearing pieces from thrift store ladies sections, so hot right now!

What's happened is probably the thing that often happens with clubs. The members go deeper and deeper into the club's thing and also try to outdo each other and end up iterating themselves into a very niche space. In this case they're doing esoteric things yet it's called 'male fashion' rather than 'avant-garde outfits' or something like that.

The “switch” she’s referring to has to do with r/malefashion’s name. Its reason for being, even. The name implies male exclusivity, but that’s not what the community wants anymore. The page is still called malefashion, but a banner across the top reads “fashion/antifashion/malefashion/femalefashion/androfashion/queerfashion.” The board’s sidebar reads: “The sub has evolved beyond its name and we welcome posters of any gender.”

So what happened? Well, over time, more and more people were attracted to the wealth of avant-garde fashion knowledge on the subreddit. Many of these individuals already felt that they “stood out” for reasons relating to their identities. “The community itself is great,” said Caulfield. “It’s very different from the public perception of Reddit,” which tends toward the right-wing and reactionary. “It’s extremely inclusive.”

Sounds like a bunch of a gnc folks have taken over and should instead be posting in https://www.reddit.com/r/GenderNonConforming

I've been wearing men's clothes for 24 years and would never invade a men's space to show off my menswear. Black people don't invade and conquer. 💅🏾 don't @ me.

First I was mad that they expelled men from our own damn subreddit, then i looked at some of the posts. Flat out the most ugly trash i’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t wear those outfits to a landfill.

Those children think that dresses are utilitarian??? Their delusions know no bounds.
