Gay Menr/askgaybros - Should Gay Men (aka natal males who are exclusively same sex attracted) be entitled to spaces just for them without hassle, harassment,or hate?

Gatekeeping exclusively gay spaces is difficult. For one thing, there's no way of stopping straight men from accessing them. Same thing for cis-passing trans men if there isn't nudity.

Uh, I don't think straight men are or have even been an issue in gay spaces. It's always been women, namely women who fetishise or think gay men are happy to have them in their gay male spaces.

Edit: by issue, I don't mean straight men going to gay spaces to attack gay men, I mean straight men wanting to be there BECAUSE it's a gay space.

I’m not sure I really want to know but what does “cis-passing” mean? If it’s that these women look like their bio sex, then why is that even a problem? Since they make the claim to be men, according to the rules that’s all that matters so why stop them? Is there a secret other meaning of this weird phrase?

Cis-passing, as in they look like gay men but they're actually straight women. No, there's nothing stopping them, but they know they're not supposed to be there and it's the thrill of trespassing that gets them off.

Yes, but they have to tack on cis so that we know for realsy reals they totes look like a cis man, honest.

Okay. But they always talk about “cis” being so evil. Why would they want to look like something so bad? I guess “cis” must be fine when they desire it then. Hypocrites. (I know they are, but this is a new form in my experience)

Because no one dates Trans. They demonize "cis" but at the same time they want them so much it hurts. It must be tiring to live life like this.
