Trans activism (as well general SJW nonsense) really strikes me as more of a fundamentalist religion than it does a coherent philosophy. They start off with a set of points they assume to be true no matter what and there’s no effort to examine if those points are actually true. Anyone who questions something or points out a flaw is treated like a heretic.

In medieval Europe, heretics got burned at the stake or exiled from their communities. They were assumed to be possessed by the devil or just to be bad people. In TRA land, heretics get doxxed, harassed, and exiled. They assume we’re bad actors from the outside because, in their warped worldview, it doesn’t occur to them that there can be good people who simply don’t ascribe to their religion.

All the hallmarks of a cult. All.

Also, I have to point out that the frequency at which they prod /r/AGB with their million "would you fuck a trans man" threads and provoking specific users within the sub is half the reason why this "transphobia" has increased. They really haven't done themselves any favours.

It seems odd to me that they want to bombard the one space on Reddit that doesn’t censor pro-homosexual content with anti-homosexual messaging while also claiming that it never happens. They do realize AGB users can see them and they don’t think it’s cute?

Their strategy is to stir up people skeptical of gender theory and then report them to r/AgainstHateSubreddits in their quest to get r/AGB banned.

Well yes, but has it not occurred to them that they’re just going create a whole lot more people who won’t put up with their shit by taking this route?

I think they are so convinced that de-platforming people is the way to go that they don't think too much beyond that. Shutting people down makes them feel powerful.

AGB mods should just do what r/periods did, the only womens sub that survived. They basically got fed up early with the bullshit and put in the rules that it was a sub about periods and any mention about gender identity was derailing and thus removed .

Pathetic TRAs, such as the AHS crew, have us all tagged to track us like animals to follow our movements. Even if we have newer/alt accounts since the sub bans / account suspensions... these stalkers track us. So whoever is claiming new people are "spreading transphobia" need to check in with their TRA overlords who stalk us.

BTW, they're tagging and tracking another "transphobic" group.

Is there any way to tell if you're tagged? I know some people have found themselves banned from various subreddits without having posted anything controversial.

One "tool" they're using is https://shinigami-eyes.github.io/

Whenever you visit a social network or a comments section, this extension will color known trans-friendly (green) and anti-trans (red) users/pages differently. This extension supports Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr, Medium, YouTube, Wikipedia articles, search engine results and all the sites with Disqus comments.

I don't know about this account but i got 4 others on different media that are all red. It makes me feel like i am succeeding in life that an app written by a bloke who raped several women including a 14 year old girl thinks i am the enemy.

Lol this extension is great for finding gender-critical material, just like r/AHS is great at finding good subreddits.

*** Maybe use that from a browser that doesn't also pass your personal information. ***

Checked my Twitter feed on which I follow this stuff and it's almost entirely red. Good! They didn't find me yet, though. I don't say much.

The source of transphobia is usually interacting with trans demands activists.

It's the utter surprise when being confronted with a subreddit which is not carefully cleaned and purified of anything that might 'offend' current trans sensibilities.

Take /askgaymen for example: You are still allowed to say you wouldn't have sex with a trans man. You are even allowed to say that you would never have sex with a trans man. But you are not allowed to say anything that invalidates a trans man's identity or would imply that he isn't a real boy.

"I would never sleep with a trans man because I am exclusively same-sex attracted." => Begrudgingly tolerated, because they haven't figured out how to ban it yet

"I would never sleep with a trans man because I am gay." => Deleted/banhammered, because it implies FTMs are not men

And now these people, who have only visited subs that enforce this sophistry to the detriment of actual gay people, come into a sub where it is completely acceptable to say that you won't sleep with trans men because they are not men. Imagine the shock!

If you follow an argument on a sub thread long enough, you'll often see some variant of this exchange:

[Gay man]: "No, I am not going to sleep with a trans man, because he is not a biological man."

[TRA]: "So, what you are saying is that you don't think a trans man is a real man?" (translation: 'Haha, now I got you!')

[Gay man]: "Yes, that is exactly what I am saying."

[TRA]: surprised Pikachu face

They simply aren't equipped (anymore) to handle this. They are accustomed to having the other person banned if he or she says they don't really consider TWAW or TMAM to be statements of truth.

There is a thread on Ovarit going right now of a TRA posted something like "Im starting to think terfs think that transwomen are just cis men in a dress" and every comment in that thread is like yes, that is exactly what we think.

[–]AugustiJade 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I was under the impression that OvarIt was meant to be a radfem platform.. Is it not?

[–]NeedMoreCoffee~=[,,_,,]=^_^= 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It's a platform for women created by radfems but a lot of women there are not radfem. However everyone can join in as long as they are respectful and understanding of the fact that its a womans space we dont tolerate any male entitled bullshit There are a few men on there and a few transpeople who are respectful.

I wish there was an equivalent to r/GenderCriticalGuys still in existence somewhere. hmm

[–]JulienMayfair[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Both r/AskGayMen and r/AskGayBrosOver30 have major TRA mods. The AGB>30 mod from Sweden is extremely controlling on pretty much every topic.

[–]antares 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Good on them for standing up for themselves. Throwing it out there, phobias are anxiety disorders and the word "transphobia" is meant to portray the opposition as having an irrational fear as opposed to having reasoned skepticism. (I say this even though people on this sub use the -phobia words.) So I doubt anyone that uses this word is interested in honest discussion.

The situation would change a lot if it as a catch all term has become meaningless.

[–]DiscoStegosaurus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Technically no gay men are interested in dating “transmen.” The people who said that they were gay but would date women are either bisexual or liars.
