Mainstream media is acting like it's normal to mutilate little kids and calling it "health care."

And nobody remembers life BEFORE 2015, when this crap was unheard of?

The reality-phobic media needs to be held accountable.

It's funny that the hecklers are calling Billboard Chris an "asshole" and telling him to "get the fuck out" when they're the ones being assholes and attacking him...for standing up against using dangerous drugs on children that have permanent affects on them.

Hey Canadian saidittors...What is your perspective on this? Also, how are people reacting over there? I have uncle who migrate there and I would ask him but eh we don't talk about...these kinds of politics. Plus my relatives are either very left leaning or very right leaning with no in-between. I have american relatives that think "Latinx" is légitiment as well as "pansexuality" and other hippy crap as well as a trans male cousin...whereas the relatives back home think homosexuality is a sin and they probably won't know much difference between the T and LGB. . . My mother doesn't. Glad my brothers are slowly turning non-religious lol. Just one left that's religious but I digress.

Most people in Canada aren't aware, they generally accept the media spin that being concerned about puberty blockers and hormones means you are a transphobe. They dont get that the ban on conversion therapy actually creates conversion therapy. I think most people just want to be inclusive and have everyone be happy, the media and politicians blatantly lie about the issue though.

However, I would say most of my blue collar friends don't fall for the non sense. I think not going to university is beneficial in that regard.

A fair number of people attended the protest, which was encouraging. As expected, the TRAs(about 30 or so) were annoying and disruptive enough so the police came an hour in. Eggs were thrown at some point and their was a lot of random bullhorn noise. Also, there was much low-quality(cringey) heckling befitting of these woke/kwir types.

Also, imagine a line of honking cars with Trans and Rainbow flags constantly circling the block comprising the demonstration area(Robson Square), Art Gallery and the Courthouse. And for a time, a few were illegally parked honking for several minutes straight drowning out the speakers(there was later a more soft-spoken female student speaker who couldn't be heard at all). I'm glad the event organizer(Paul Dirks) himself was as loud af. Overall, it turned out well despite all this distraction. There were many mentions about how LGB were being transed and people there expressed their solidarity with Rob Hoogland(the jailed Dad). They won't shut people up anymore.

I'm not surprised the news media implies protesters were wrong for opposing the proposed ban on "conversion therapy". It's a emotion-eliciting talking point that is effective for those not yet informed about the gender identity(ideology) part of it. Stopping Child Medical Transitions is not Conversion Therapy. Neither is not using your incorrect or neo-pronouns. Also, no one can "put puberty on pause" with blockers(toxins). Geez
