Hey, all. Just thought I’d talk about some weird things that have been brewing in r/AgainstHateSubreddits recently.

So... about 3 days ago, several posts were made about us in the (ironically) hate subreddit that is r/AgainstHateSubreddits, which were removed about an hour later due to not being related to any currently existing Reddit communities. Not to mention, even if they haven’t been targeting this site and this specific forum in particular, we are often mentioned in posts that mention AskGayBros’ rebel against the conversion therapy rhetoric that is often spouted there by bait accounts or homophobes.

But here’s the thing... it’s getting close to a year since the original LGBDropTheT community was banned from Reddit entirely, and these deranged people are still looking for ways to silence us, despite the fact that we are now on an entirely different platform that they have no dictation over. We are still in there heads because they thought that getting us banned from Reddit would completely remove us from the internet. It hasn’t. We’re still here and you can’t silence us anymore.

I mean, it’s mind boggling to me how they believe a community as small as we are can singlehandedly sway the opinions of the 261,000 individuals that are currently subscribed to AGB. People aren’t putting up with the trans bullshit because they simply don’t want to. It’s not because we’re on a mission to ‘turn the tide of the battle’ or whatever. It’s because people are slowly realising that homophobia is making a comeback under the masquerade of ‘trans acceptance.’

Final message to AHS lurkers (trust me, there are a lot):

You can’t do anything about us existing and nor can you censor us any longer. Go cry about it lmao.

They use a browser plugin called "shinigami" to detect "transphobes" on Reddit. I've never commented in AskGayBros, but my Reddit account is flagged/tagged according to a TRA in the butchlesbians sub who pinged two sub mods in my video post about butch erasure.

I'm likely tagged because I posted in the BiologicalLesbians sub before it was banned. The account I use is less than 4 months old, so it isn't linked to the banned subs of 2020. Also, I didn't participate in any of those Super subs (because they were so cringe lol).

Are there, though? I guess I'm curious, if so, because it seems for the most part, we don't get too many trolls. Perhaps that's just because past TRAs who came to visit were redirected to other subs and/or banned from this one, but I figured that we hadn't heard much over here because they'd finally decided to leave us alone and let us have our space.

Clearly, many on LGBTQWTF+ Reddit still are thinking about us, though, which is so funny to me. As RipoffOfLove said-- if we hadn't been banned from Reddit, they would have still had some control over us...

We haven't seen any real TRA shenanigans here, maybe a random commenter occasionally, but nothing like our experience on Reddit. I think they've decided to leave this entire site alone for the time being. It's hard enough to maintain their vitriol and hate on one site, let alone bounce between two.

If or when Reddit tanks for good, I'm sure they'll make their way here and try to cancel us all over again. I can't wait to see what un-creative memes they spam next time.
