Alan Turing's revisionism feel like a knife to the heart. They forcibly chemically castrated one of the greatest minds, AFTER he saved their asses in WWII, and he poisoned himself with cyanide at age 41. All because he was gay.

And the TRA have the FUCKING GALL to revise him as a trans icon. Fuck them and fuck those who believe that crap. He was destroyed by the people he saved and his memory and achievements should not be sullied by identity politics and revisionists.

This man contributed so much not just to the war, but to all of modern computing. And yet he was betrayed by the governmen he fought for and was subsequently murdered by them. His story was tragic enough without these horrible people saying that this is all some perverted view of government healthcare and that he desired the castration they forced upon him. It is legitimately sickening that people in the modern world can take this man's legacy and act like he wasn't persecuted to the point of death. These people hold nothing sacred

I had no idea Alan Turing was one of their targets.

Either way, very pleased to see him immortalised on the new £50 note.

I think it didn't get a lot of traction, not like Marsha P Johnson.

And it's very well deserved.

Wasn’t the Alan Turing one satire? Or at least I heard it was.

Honestly I think Marsha P. Just because there’s actual video of him clarifying that he knew he wasn’t a woman, and that he didn’t “throw the first brick.”

It’s disrespectful to take historical figures and “trans” them when they can’t confirm how they saw themselves or felt about gender/sex, but I think it’s even more disrespectful when the person you’re speaking for has actually addressed the specific topic and said something to contrary to how they’re being labeled posthumously.

IMO it was the push of this lie that started the rise of mainstream TRA nonsense. I'm probably missing some bits, but I remember when Stonewall came out and seeing how much it was criticized for being whitewashed. True or not, the discourse surrounding the movie is the first time I'd even heard about Martha P. Johnson and the other black trans women I supposedly owed all of my rights too.

Joan of Arc. She believed being a woman was a central part of why God chose her to fight for France. TRAs are out here claiming she was really a man because she wasn’t afraid to fight and liked wearing leggings.

I agree with this one. Basically any woman who managed to escape the repressive gender roles of the past gets labeled as trans by these fuckers. Joan of Arc being the most famous example.

They think Mulan was a trans. They so think Anne Lister, a cool butch lesbian who openly lived her sexuality and fucked tons of women in the 1800's, was actually a trans.

"Non-western indigenous cultures embraced gender diversity" - bringing up so called 'third-genders' as if to say they expressions of diversity etc, when they're actually just terms for eunuchs, feminine men, or gay men and serve to ostracise them from that society.

It's very interesting to me watching straight men and straight women who are "trans" trying to interact with and appropriate gay/lesbian history. I know their levels of narcissism are psychotic and they love just making up bald faced lies but they need "links" and things to work with and its really hard for them to? The HSTS homosexuals hate them and we all know those were HSTS gays and lesbians but the AGP men and women have nothing to do with us so i can see how frustrated they get when they have nothing to really work with.

In fairness, LGB are also sometime guilty of revisionism. I cringe everytime I hear "Ancient Greeks were ok with homosexuality" which is very far from the truth.
