Well they're like: "We went dark due to doxxing and harassment." (Even though it appears most of the dirty laundry is on other websites.)

Which is exactly how the Aimee Challenor debacle was framed and fed to the entire site for a day or so.

Damn do these people have a short memory. Bad things can and do hide behind the shield of "doxxing and harassment." This is an obvious, proven fact with Challenor and Reddit's protectionism.

Perhaps Reddit corporate, who, to my limited knowledge, are doing nothing after the sacking of Challenor, are not taking any action because they know the rot runs really deep all over that site. Fixing problems requires admitting you have them in the first place...

The mod they added seems relatively benign, but it remains highly unlikely that the situation on /r/AL will change at all.

I don't know if AL specifically did this, but some subs have been removing Aimee and nekosune as their mods and adding their alt accounts instead.

Off topic, but why do the have a bisexual person as a mod on a "lesbian" subreddit. I wouldn't want to be the head of a bi space as a gay person.

Most of the "lesbians" are actually men who have autogynephilia (AGP). And many of the "bisexual women" are men as well. So it's kinda all moot at this point. The subreddit description even says "everybody is welcome here" and the comments frequently invite in straight men.

Good question... for which I can't imagine anything besides depressing answers :(

One guess is that those assigning this person as mod may expect him/her to preach love of "girldick" to lesbians, since many SJWs have decided that "bi" translates as "no excuse for not fucking trans people". (Apparently trans-fucking duty is something you need an excuse to get out of, like a note from your doctor.)

Which is doubly dismaying: that we supposedly have no right to turn away trans-junk... and that lesbians aren't allowed to head their own fucking subreddit.

I keep almost posting on those forums when I click those links, because I forget where I am, and that those posts aren't satire.

I'm confused once again by the changing goalposts. Now 'genital preferences' aren't transphobic? I thought we were being told that is what makes on a transphobe.
