That would explain why actualesbians and lgbt is nothing but the transgender spam. On a side note, I find it disturbing that one of the mods for a sexuality based sub which traditionally involves females being sexual attracted to each other is being moderated by a male. As a male myself I wouldn't want a woman to be enforcing rules in a sub which is geared towards males due to females being unable to relate with us. It's just plan out creepy that a male is enforcing rules for a lesbian based sub.

It's even worse because a lot of young lesbians go there asking for advice and are basically told if they aren't open to dating males they are evil.

And there's a lot of easy pitfalls for them too considering pretty common lesbian experiences are considered transphobic now so they might accidentally mention one of them. Like being grossed out by dicks and having straight guys try to tell them they should like dick.

I would be surprised if /r/ActualLesbians have at least one active female mod. That place is almost completely full of transwomen, straight men and bisexual women, and very few lesbians who afraid to speak up.

I’m pretty sure a vast majority of the mods of LGBT subreddits are trans and maintain a strong pro-trans, anti-gender critical attitude in them all. Hence communities for lesbians where some of the most upvoted posts are jokes about sucking dick. It’s fucking gross in so many ways.

I met others like this, like a guy at a concert who told me how he is "pansexual" but when I told him I am bisexual and that this other guy friend he was with was cute he told me how he is really heterosexual. 🙄

Just like on Tumblr where people will reblog popular posts by gender critical or radical feminists and say “it was by a terf, so I stole it!” or agree with the post but fill the notes with “OP IS A TERF”. I have never seen any other group have people consistently and regularly agree with them or parts of their ideology, but still claim that group is a “hate group” or promotes “hate speech”.

Lel, the LGBT sub went private due to the mods being doxed and harassed. It wouldn't surprise me if the real reason why is because the users are having a shit storm over the pedophile and the mods are trying to cover their tracks as well.

This probably isn't a welcome comment, but the TERFs over on gendercritical were posting about this for the last year, and warning about this kind of thing for longer than that. No one paid any attention, in fact a lot of you were very abusive and dismissive.

AC and pals were largely behind that sub getting yeeted. Looking back, this looks less like an action against hate speech and more a bunch of "pedo adjacents" seeking to silence those who were concerned about their having such access to kids and teens as mods in a position of power and trust.

You'd hope Reddit is looking through all their PM's.

This might be a argument for anyone modding subs aimed at kids to go through the same kinds of background tests as teachers etc.

Everything in that comment is true: r/gendercritical was warning that most of the lgbt subs are modded by the same aggressive, power-hungry, predatory people that have nothing better to do than mod subreddits all day long. They create an illusion of false consensus on weird ass issues that wouldn't gain any traction otherwise (like gay people are "gential fetishists" and bio sex is a "social construct").
