Are there a lot of "gay transboys" among BTS fans?

Yes. FTMs seem to be almost always weeaboos/koreaboos and obsessed with East Asian media.

Wow. I knew the anime connection but I didn't realize the crossover applied to so many other forms of media. I guess I could see how the extreme yaoi fans would idolize BTS and be like "uwu they're so soft" and shit. Lovely.

I think it's true for any fandom spaces. Interesting enough it's not so prevalent in spaces dedicated to niche music genres. Gee I wonder why... and why most of people read the today's phenomenon of trans as a new trend.

Yes. Pretty much all of the 13 year old homophobic ‘transmen’ on Twitter reclaiming the word faggot.

I doubt their producers would ever willingly get involved in the shit fight that's American identity politics, but they probably are. Most people aren't interested in mixed sex characteristics, and South Korea is a fairly conservative country with heavy Christian influences.
