Transbians: harass lesbians, take over every lesbian space, and threaten lesbians who don’t comply with rape and physical harm

Gaydens: harass gay men ad nauseam, get gay men’s spaces shut down, and advocate rape by deception

Regular straight people: exist

Pink News: well obviously regular straight people are the problem here

Le yawn The "wedge" that is dividing the LGBTQ+ community was driven by TQ+, not SuperStraight.

The seething anger with which people have responded to #super___ is telling. They cannot stand the idea of people not being interested in them. Even the people who claim that genital preferences are fine seem to give their audience an ultimatum: no, you are not required to have sex with trans people, but you must admit that it is transphobic. You must denounce yourself to them, tell them that you have some sort character defect, and that is why you are not hooking up: because of your shortcomings. This is manipulative behavior, no ifs ands or buts.

In a lot of cases, I think it's the cluster B personality lashing out (or maybe CPTSD, which from other accounts and my own personal experience seems to have a lot of overlap with BPD symptoms). The sexual rejection is seen as such a psychic wound that must be addressed, and the rejector must either be attacked or made to apologize in some way in order to create a sense of balance; s/he must feel some sort of humiliation as well in order for the Cluster-B individual to feel at ease.

Edit: as for the number of "cis" gay men, lesbians, and bisexual people going along with attacking the supers, (such as the editors of Pink News)...that seems to be what happens with a lot of people who associate closely with those who have unchecked Cluster-B personalities. People use the term "flying monkeys" or "orbiters" to describe those who seem to be the sort of henchmen of people with narcissistic personalities. I think people become trained (often unconsciously) to make the Cluster-B sufferer's battles their own. They also realize that any perceived lack of effort on their part will put them in the cross-hairs!

I agree completely. I've seen narcissistic rage in person. I'm sure you know this, but, to anyone not experienced with this, pathological narcissists perceive any threat to the image of themselves they are desperate to maintain as a threat to their existence. This is why they construe language they don't like as 'violence.' In their minds, they experience non-validation as though someone were genuinely trying to kill them.

I also know what it's like to be drawn in as a "rescuer" of a narcissist. I fell for it for a time with a friend of mine, but over time, I realized I was actually on the wrong side of many of the conflicts he found himself in. Seeking out conflicts is another aspect of this cluster of psychological problems. They will deliberately, if unconsciously, seek out conflicts and then cry for help as though they are the innocent victim. It's like the trans people on dating apps who try to get into fights with people who aren't interested and then complain to the managers of the app to have that person banned. This is one reason why you should never tell these people you aren't interested in them because they're trans. You should never allow them to draw you into a conversation about it. It's called the "grey rock" technique. If you refuse to take the bait, they get bored and go try to start a fight with someone else.

I think of that "Rachel" McKinnon clip where he says "people who oppose my existence."

LGB is a sexual orientation.

T is a personality disorder (is that what narcissism falls under?)

I feel like I need to become very well-versed in mental issues in order to deal with the TRA onslaught. But my guess is the TRA have already rewritten all the psychology material to suit them and serve their delusion.

Yes, it's Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)

[–]Virginia_Plain 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yes. I used to always wonder about the weirdly loyal friends that demanding, volatile people would have. What is disturbing is the degree to which institutions, businesses have become the enablers. I'm in favor of gender expression protections in employment, housing, hate crime legislation, etc. I do draw the line at self-ID and the end of certain categories being determined by sex. Even medicine is swallowing the bait. Take a look at this donation FAQ for LGBTQ+ donors at blood and plasma centers in the USA. Click around, have, fun, and see if anything sticks out.

Yeah, if you're a guy who identifies as a woman, then we won't treat you as MSM. I hope it's not that absurd, but it probably is.

Pretty sure most TRAs would fit either on the Cluster B spectrum or the autism spectrum. In other words, the "lunatics" are actually in charge of the asylum.

If you see two S next to each other and your first thought is Nazis, that sounds like a You problem. An entire article about desperately grasping at straws and clumsily using a snotty tone to sound bold and confident like a sixth grader's first persuasive essay, I'm sure swayed now LOL

Godwin’s Law in action. It’s so typical of people like the idiots at PinkNews to call people who don’t give into their demands Nazis.

When I see SS I think Sesame Street. Is that program still on? If it is, I'm sure they have a trans muppet. Then I think steamship. Then I think starship, like the SS Enterprise. Then I get sad that Sulu turned out to be a TRA.

They claim we obsess over genitals. They obsess over the Third Reich. Sounds like a fetish.

It's a real childish talking point. I took a course called Social Studies(a combo of History, Geography, Politics and Civics) for years. Fink News would be like, "Hurr Durr you went to SS class. That means you were a Hitler Youth." This is their level of sophistication.

LOL as biased as PenisNews is, it can't actually make a sound case against the 'Super' movement. Everything they described the Supers doing and believing sounds 100% reasonable. Anyone reading that article ought to be appalled that TikTok would ban the kid who posted that video. The article describes Reddit banning the Super subs for 'hate', but can't list a single comment that was hateful.

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 27 insightful - 3 fun27 insightful - 2 fun28 insightful - 3 fun -  (3 children)

Didn't the kid delete his account because his mother received death threats? Isn't it interesting that penisnews left that detail out?

IIRC, later the kid who started S+ also said his family were getting threats.

Various subreddits were founded specifically for supersexuals, including the since-deleted Super_Lesbian and Super Lesbian, or the private forum Super Gay.

But pro-trans Redditors have fought back. The Super Bisexual subreddit, meanwhile, was founded by pro-trans users “so people can’t be transphobic here too”, an admin wrote.

Yes, how dare those evil lesbian, gay and bisexual people refuse to have sex with trans people 🙄 love to see a media outlet that supposedly represents LGB people, pressure LGB people into having sex with people they don't want to. Have you people ever heard of a word called "consent"? It's pretty cool, would recommend.

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The problem is that consent can be coerced out of a person. In other words, someone could give consent to sex if threatened. Technically they gave consent, but it was coercive rape in the end.

Ah, PinkNews. The neoliberal tabloid news site that claims to advocate for the rights and freedoms of homosexuals and bisexuals, but throws us under the bus in the name of wokeness, globalism and crony capitalism. Fuck that site.

These "trolls" were so "pathetic" that they had a Gofund me going for a woman's rape settler and this fund had raised almost $7,000. Now the reason why I said "had a Gofund me" is because their donation to a good cause fund got shutdown. What I can tell you is that this donation to a good cause fund wasn't being reported by white supremacists, conservatives, or the SuperStraight people.

Uh-oh. Tacking on a + to things doesn't especially have a great track record. Atheism+, Google+, LGBTQ+...

Probably because for social movements it implies infinite inclusion and lack of gatekeeping.

[–]BEB 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I think the point with S+ is also that it's not just Super STRAIGHT, but also Super GAY, LESBIAN, BI.

Beyond that, how can anyone police a movement based on human nature, i.e., to be attracted to who you're attracted to because of their sex? That's a movement that's going to attract just about everyone on Earth beyond a small % of gender warriors.
