It's not from 4chan, actually; your title is misleading. The SuperStraight movement was started by a guy on TikTok. A few 4chan people tried to latch on after the fact.

Also FYI there is s/SuperStraight in case you are interested. Unfortunately not as big as the reddit sub was, but still nice to see it!

Snopes says the 4chan link is "unproven" when it should clearly be "false". They conveniently avoid stating that the original Tiktok was posted on 21 February, while the first mentions on 4chan came in March. Of course most of the article is bullshit about "transphobia" and the "far-right". Fuck I hate this biased media, even "factcheckers" aren't immune. We're doomed, r.i.p. truth and facts.

Thank for the information, posted there too. And I was talking about THIS operation coming from 4chan. I know superstraight came from twitter.
