Amazing. They TRULY cannot stand dissent from their vile agenda. This will only further galvanize the ~30k subscribers that were there as of banning.

Fuck TRAs. Fuck the Ts. I’m sick of their manipulative bullshit.

I can't help but notice that r/lesbians is the only woman-born-woman sub allowed on reddit, the only place where girl-dicks are prohibited. And it's a porn sub.

We're only ok when they're fetishizing us

And r/gay is a non porn sub whereas... r/lesbian is locked down and links to r/actuallesbians, a well known trans oriented sub with few if any actual lesbians.

They had to shut it down. The TRAs were losing every argument on there. And the sub was threatening the "solidarity" of the LGBTQAI2S+++. RIP. It was nice while it lasted. If I had to, I'd rather be working with the SuperStraights than the Spicy Straights.

And they couldn't report and ban the counterpoints, so they had to have the entire subreddit banned.

I hope the straights don't give up on this like a quick trend but actually fight back. Set fire to the reddit servers and demand that the platform change.

I think this was a turning point. The sheer amount of frustration from normies sick of being told who they had to have sex with that broke through in a matter of only days was extraordinary, and it was global.

Keep at it, TRAs. Show people who you really are.

I hope it leads to more than just straight people making a joke of the LGB community like how I saw in some of the posts.

[–]BEB 24 insightful - 1 fun24 insightful - 0 fun25 insightful - 1 fun -  (10 children)

I looked at the sub r/SuperStraight mostly in its first few days, but I saw a ton of support for Super Gays, Super Lesbians and Super Bi. Same on Twitter.

It seemed posters went out of their way to support LGB, including suggestions that LGBS or SSLGB would be a better fit than having T in there.

[–]Poppy29252Natal Cat Woman 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (9 children)

I saw a lot of that too, and it was reassuring that we aren't the fringe radicals TRAs make us out to be.

But I also saw a lot of bandwagoners that wanted to hate trans people just for the fact they exist and don't really care what is happening to the LGB community and women, they just wanted an excuse to shit on a group openly.

I think a lot of people (I'm talking about the US here) are fed up because now gender ideology is encroaching on their lives.

Their kids are being indoctrinated in schools, they're being indoctrinated in the office, their girls are in danger both of losing their sports and also their safe spaces, they're being told they have to remember pronouns in the middle of a deadly pandemic or lose their jobs, they're being told that to not accept Bruce Jenner or Rachel Levine as a woman is akin to being a member of the KKK - and so they've just had it.

Trans people exist, but only a few years ago they were a miniscule minority that tried to fit in. Now, people who claim to be trans are trying to reorder society to the point where they are trying to legally disappear biological sex and also force heterosexual and homosexual people to disregard their own sexual attractions.

So I think some of the anger on the SuperStraight sub is justified, not in terms of being angry at genuine trans people, which is not fair, but being angry at the gender lobby for turning all of our lives upside down.

This is what happens when we move our social lives onto platforms controlled by delusional, creepy narcissists. Big Tech can absolutely control this conversation and is trying damn hard. Trans is all over tech.

I'm starting to feel that the very sudden and massive popularity of Superstraight means something - like perhaps the beginning of a revolt against indoctrination by the tech elite, postmodernism, academia, corporate LGBTQ+++ band wagoning, out-of-touch virtue-signalling politicians, and all the various establishment forces trying to skew reality.

I couldn't stand Trump, and was baffled by his popularity, but now I think it's that Trump said whatever came into his fat head no matter how outrageous, and people were sick of (especially politicians') double speak.

The popularity of Superstraight might be the next step in normal people's attempts to reclaim some kind of honesty (not that Trump was honest about anything except his own non-PC thoughts). I hope so.

Giving trans people the opportunity to gain so much political clout when their entire identity is built on reality denialism was a tremendous mistake. Any identity that requires living in denial to cope is essentially enabling mental illness to go untreated and leads to exactly the nightmare we live in.

[–]bopomofodojo 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

And trans isn't the only example of this, so much of "mental health awareness" in the late-2010's/early 2020's seems to just be "I'm going to spend all my time complaining about how poor my mental health is on the platform(s) that contribute to it, and do absolutely nothing to cope". Pick whichever mental disorder you please, it applies to all of them.

[–][deleted] 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yep. They beg for free passes on bad behavior because "muh mental health" but can't ever be bothered to actually take any concrete steps to address it or acknowledge they have some responsibility to try and improve themselves so they stop acting so shitty to others.

[–]BEB 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I'm really thinking now that this attempted reordering of the way humans approach sex has nothing to do with transgender people but instead is part of a more sinister plan that The Powers That Be have for us and that hasn't been revealed yet.

Laws changing the legal definition of "sex" to include "gender identity" are being proposed and passed ALL OVER THE WORLD - coincidence?

[–][deleted] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Nah, not a coincidence at all. Classic trans astroturfing.

I saw almost no hate. When I did see it it was all form TRAs belittling the members of the sub.

[–][deleted] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I like seeing r/TumblrInAction basically seething with rage and calling out Reddit for supporting the TRAs. If you go to TumblrInAction right now, everyone there is basically saying the same shit we were, and getting away with it.

I wish I knew why TumblrInAction isn't getting calls to ban it for wrongthink. Probably because it's too entrenched? Their members clearly know the TRAs are full of shit.

Hopefully they don't fall back in line.
