Where is the body shaming? It's a fact that being fat makes certain things more difficult. Then I come from a country where real fat women are super rare and it isn't taboo to speak facts about weight, rather than pretending obesity is cool.

But yeah, outside of the USA there is no such a thing as fat lesbian stereotype. I was kind shocked at first reading american forums talking about lesbians being fat. Like never heard of such a thing, in my country I have heard of stereotypes of lesbians being gym rats and fit, but fatness is not problem, because in general obesitiy is really rare in Italy. And I think gender roles and stereotypes tend to be definitely less prevalent. American lesbianism is quite different than in other cultures.

Excessive shame can be counterproductive, but shame serves an important function. It's an important regulator of behavior. People who post endlessly about their diaper fetishes in Twitter should feel more shame. People who jerk off in front of unwilling participants should feel shame. Pedophiles should feel shame. Trying to eliminate shame wholesale from society is just as counterproductive as overdoing it.

It's okay to say that bad things are bad.
