I'm probably wrong about this, but it really reminds me of the type of people that get featured on /r/ihavesex. Like they are so insecure about their incel or incel-like status that they start fetishizing and identifying with sex workers. Like if they talk about sex enough they'll become sex-adjacent and earn some internet cool-points.

Are there any notable sex workers or trans women in the history? The only trans woman I know is the one that "created" the Dale car, stole the money, faked a car accident and changed his gender to not get caught. But nobody probably knows or cares about that story
