You are either a troll account or a deeply misguided individual. My response here is not directed at you because I don't expect to be able to reason with you, and is purely for the benefit of third party observers:

The death penalty is bad because it consistently is applied to innocent people. Without even getting into the morality of which crimes are significant enough to merit the death penalty, the fact that someone innocent has been and can still be executed despite being innocent is reason enough to not be in favor of the death penalty. It is unacceptable for even one innocent person to be wrongly executed for a crime they did not commit, and we have seen exonerations when new evidence emerges. We cannot safely wield a death penalty without risking the death of innocents who are framed or falsely accused.

Freedom of speech matters. You have to be extremely careful when you mandate certain forms of speech being illegal because it's very easy for the boundaries to be stretched suddenly to include legitimate criticism, and then you are not able to speak on issues that matter without legal censure. Casually suggesting that "hate speech" should be illegal is suggested by people who lack the imagination to see how quickly and easily the definition of what constitutes "hate speech" can rapidly be expanded to include unreasonable things. Trans advocates would love this to be able to latch onto it and claim criticism of the trans movement as literal hate speech.

Yeah I'm not into government sanctioned murder for people who only said things.
