I wholeheartedly agree. What Graham Linehan did was inspired, and it needed to be done. Yes, while there may be a discussion to be had about revealing peoples' names and profile pictures, they're essentially public domain once you upload them to an app.

The point Linehan is making is 100% correct. If you're in favour of self-ID then you don't get to pick and choose who is genuinely self-ID'ing and who is taking the piss. It's the same thing with pronouns. If I announce that my pronouns are Spongebob and Spongebobself, what right does anyone have to criticise and claim I'm being disingenuous? The entire point of this ridiculous movement (such as it is) is that how we 'feel' on the inside is what counts, regardless of what outsiders may say.

But as Harry Potter, Hermione, and that ginger one said in Harry Potter and The Betrayal of the Ungrateful Shits

Love it.

Scrolling through Twitter, even though banned for human rights abuses like saying rape porn is wrong, I stumbled upon the latest LGBTplc scandal. If you’re fragile you need to prepare yourselves. Grab the smelling salts. Fetch the fainting couch. Put on your best pearls and prepare to clutch them with a death grip. Load the ‘valid’ cannon. Trigger warning engaged.
