The whole "gender binary is colonialism" thing never fails to make me laugh. It's like they just string together buzz words and call it a coherent argument.

It's all know-it-all teenagers who've been told by dishonest pseudo-intellectuals that the world was some kind of magical gender wonderland before "colonialism."

Cultures that ended up with third gender categories tended to be cultures obsessed with categories where gendered behavior was rigidly enforced. The additional gender categories were invented because you had to put gender non-conforming individuals (usually men) somewhere.

Oh, this post-colonial deconstruction garbage is all part of the general cultural marxist curriculum...

This person shows exactly how someone can get so smart and educated in "Theory" to the point that they become divorced from reality. Everything becomes "constructed" in their view—even things that are plainly real.

This individual might be too far gone to stop and think about what their notion of sex as a "western concept" implies. Everything must serve the theory. Like, did humans exit the cave not knowing what a woman is, or how to fuck and reproduce? (How are we even here!? How does that person think they were conceived!?)

It all comes back to critical theory, which does not need to follow the rules of logic or a coherent argument. It doesn't matter that it's falsifiable—it's all about the narrative. In my most simplified understanding, a normal theory explains reality as it is, while a critical theory argues for how it ought to be: in other words, a Utopia. Hence, cultural marxism.

These people sure as hell like telling people from different cultures of what their culture actually is, while their understanding is totally based on their western SJW ideology.

Don't use h*rm**phr*d*t*. It's a slur against DSD/intersex ppl.

At this point, just use the fucking word. If you want to be cagey about using a slur be... cagier? 'Don't use that word' or something like that (but also let people use whatever words they like, to be honest) rather than just blocking out all the vowels.

You also get lots of TRAs saying Hijra were celebrated and considered to have special powers when it seems the reality is most are disgusted by them. Also, notice they always never mention that the non western cultures with “third genders” universally have extremely strict gender roles, and that there’s almost never a “gender” for women who wish to take on male roles and occupations?

Ironically, this Bri fella, like other western liberals and globalists, is perpetuating colonialism by imposing western standards on an Indian woman. But people like Bri have their heads too far up their own arses to realise that.

That Indian woman is based. She doesn’t give a fuck.

It is funny to watch as she accuses people of believing things about gender that were only imposed upon them by westerners so that she can impose a purely western idea of gender. It is the pinnacle of hipocrisy and irony and I cannot wait until the day that people are shunned from society for this crime against logic

It’s going to be interesting watching these TRAs go after people from non-western cultures. Especially when you consider that TRAs despise white people and like to blame white people for everything that is wrong with the world. But whenever a brown person, a black person or an East Asian person says something transphobic - in other words, logical - these TRAs are in a tough spot. Yes, these TRAs can blame white people for "imposing gender binaries on innocent non-white cultures", but it gets to a point where the non-white gender realist doubles down and a non-white country passes a law criminalising support for transgenderism. By the way, I hope this happens.

[–]Three_oneFourWanted for thought crimes in countless ideologies 10 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Then the TRAs will just double down on the gaslighting and accuse the brown country of losing their own culture and enforcing racist gender ideals set by European colonialists decades or centuries ago. They'll become exactly what they swear they're dismantling.

Honestly, those countries should just start reporting foreign TRAs and ban them from entering their countries, while internal TRAs should be arrested.

We have to be careful with enforcing thought crime. If a nation's government is allowed to ban TRAs, then they won't stop there and will start banning anything else they don't like, such as people who support gay rights.

It's an excellent idea to say we shouldn't allow such harmful ideas to spread, but there is no good way to enforce it without giving a lot of power to someone who will more than likely abuse it. Mob mentality usually ends poorly. Government control often ends poorly. There's no reliable way to stop TRAs without harming others except by educating the gender ideology away. By allowing free discussion so that the idea can be killed not by a group or government, but by logic and facts since they cannot continue to harm the innocent. Obviously TRAs are not open to discussion, but they already have silenced us in many places, so doing nothing will be better than our current trend of doing harm.

We should be allowed to ridicule them. They hate comedy. It should not be a "hate crime" to mock their ridiculousness.

That is the best way to go about it. What you're proposing is that enforcers STOP enforcing thought crime. Right now, we're the ones guilty of wrongthink, and the fact that thought crime is being enforced is the problem

I'm a minority in the people of color umbrella. Trust me that they do go after us. I've read countless tweets from them on how racist they truly are - especially binding their trans "struggles" with that of black or Asian women.

Make sure to stand up to these people. TRAs are being propped up by globalists, a collective of people and institutions who are racist against everybody and racist against all races. Whether you’re white, black, Asian, Jewish, Arabic, Indian, Latin American, indigenous and so on, these people will attack you.

Ok obviously I'm going to disagree with the edgelord "gender is colonialism" person... But the other person is also wrong in the use of vocabulary.

First of all, human hermaphrodites don't exist. No intersex person is a hermaphrodite. This requires the same organism having both types of gametes. Incidentally capacity to produce a certain gamete is how sex categories are defined.

Secondly, they are using "gender" incorrectly. Hijras in India are one of the very few examples which can be considered as a third gender within a culture. This is because gender is a sex based caste system defined by society / culture. India is rigidly sexist and caste based even though it is technically illegal now. Gender is just as much a caste as a Brahmin or untouchable. Hijra is still a sex based category. Women can't be hijra. It's for men who fail at being men and it's defined and enforced by society. It is not some internal feeling.

This is what TRAs are the most wrong about gender. they claim gender is a personal or individual identity but it's the complete opposite. It's a socially constructed identity based on your sex and has absolutely nothing to do with how any individual feels about it.
