DiscussionAre more gay men speaking out?

I was banned from twitter last year, I haven't bothered creating a new account but I still browse and follow links to it. Obviously using the site this way is a bit disjointed and makes it harder to spot trends but in the course of browsing it feels like I'm spotting more and more gay men declaring themselves GC/not cis/not queer and other variations on that theme.

Can anyone who is still on twitter confirm? Is there a steady groundswell emerging or is it my wishful thinking?

Related to this I spotted that former Stonewall CEO Ben Summerskill dipped a toe into the water with a very mild call for dialogue sometime last week. It got very little traction but I thought it was notable.

I see more gay men saying enough is enough but I think this whole drama is still very niche-y. I wish more famous or popular gay or lesbian would talk about it. Of course they won’t even if they are aware. I want it to be mainstream so bad.

I know Twitter bans IP addresses... but you can't use a VPN to create new accounts without being banned? I know Reddit permanently suspends lots of accounts that use a VPN.

The gay and primarily male website, DATALOUNGE.com, has been anti-trans ideology for a long time. The posters who were actually around for the US struggle for gay rights, and also many of the UK posters, call out gender ideology in no uncertain terms, and have for years.

So if you want to hang out with gay men who have no time for the TQ+, Datalounge might be a refuge. But there are also a lot of lesbians on Datalounge who also have no time for the TQ+ and their destruction of gay rights and gay spaces. It's refreshing.

I lurk on Datalounge occasionally. Sometimes it's quite funny but other times it seems overrun by trolls. Discussing trans stuff doesn't seem to banned there but threads I've read often turn into a mess of slinging insults.

Datalounge used to have great and informative discussions about gender ideology (wasn't called that then), the transitioning of gay children, the re-writing of gay history to give credit to trans, etc.

I actually learned about the misogynistic, homophobic US Equality Act on Datalounge.

The gay men especially on Datalounge weren't having any of the trans activist shit. They know their gay history because they lived it.

There is one trans activist on Datalounge that tries to shut all discussion down, and a few trans sympathizers who sometimes chime in, but I still actually find a lot of information on trans antics on there.

If you post on Datalounge, please post that the Equality Act is now in both the US House and the Senate and anyone concerned needs to get on the phone with Congress NOW. Thanks!
