Honestly, do you think any of that really works anymore? It's blatantly obvious over the past few years that our "representatives" just vote party line. If Biden puts it forth, every Democrat will vote for it, guaranteed. We're not electing people to represent us, we're electing toadies that are willing to throw away accountability and responsibility to do whatever it takes to get to the top.
The media has successfully made politics an 'us vs them' mentality.

I think The Powers That Be that are determined to keep us divided do use the "us vs them" strategy. In the US, it's greatly helped by our team mentality i.e., "I'm a Dodger's fan" or "I'm a Patriots fanatic."

But the thing with the Equality Act is that I do think it helps if we call and write our political representatives, which we have to do NOW.

This is because I think politicians have barely read the Equality Act themselves- they see the clever name - who could vote against "Equality"?

They see that it's supposed to benefit "LGBTQ+++" which they've been convinced by lobbyists from former gay organizations is a very powerful voting bloc.

Their staffers are often young grads fresh out of posh universities where they've been indoctrinated into Queer Theory, so the politicians never get an honest analysis of the conflicting rights aspect of the Equality Act.

So it's a clusterfuck, but the net result will be enough of a loss and support to the Democrats that they will lose coming elections.

Once women alone wake up to the realities of the Equality Act, the Democrats will lose many and women are the backbone of the Democratic party.

Smarter LGB already realize what they lose if the Equality Act passes, but once rank-and-file LGB understand, many of them will also not vote Democratic.

So I think that yes, we should call, write, SCREAM NO to our politicians about the Equality Act.

And we need to call, write and SCREAM right now, because the House is voting next week, and then the Democrats will push it as fast as possible through the Senate and Gender Joe Biden will sign it with a flourish.

And all will be lost. When the legal definition of "sex" includes "gender identity" it will be impossible to define "gay" "homosexual" "sexual orientation" "same-sex attraction" and the laws that protect gays based on sex, will be in limbo.

I'm in the middle of the Bible Belt, I already know how my representatives will vote, but unfortunately the past few years and the most recent election have eradicated any faith I had in our system. I'm not voting or writing politicians anymore, I'm buying ammo and making friends in my local community.

And at the risk of being controversial, if I'm being honest, I actually WANT this to pass. American women are the single largest voting block of the 'progressive' movement pushing this bullshit agenda, and it's going to take something huge, like men invading and overtaking every women's sport, space and sanctuary, to wake the majority of them up. And I know, as a man, me being able to say that is a disgusting luxury...but I'm sorry, I just don't see a way out of this that isn't itself as extreme as the actions being taken against us. : /

Whenever I call Democratic politicians about this, I tell them that the Equality Act and similar legislation could be the hill the US dies on.

I know that sounds dramatic, but for a job I had for quite a few years I had to analyze events around the world, including in the US. That included paying attention to elections.

If the Democrats go ahead with the Equality Act, and as Americans find out that the Democrats have already passed similar legislation on the local and state level, they will lose a lot of voters.

The Democrats will lose a ton of independent women voters and they will lose a good % of Democratic women. The latter won't vote GOP, but they won't vote Dem. and, more importantly, they won't do the legwork that the Democratic party so desperately needs.

And Americans tend to vote their irritations rather than their interests. The "breast milk" / "chest milk" thing, the pronouns, their kids being taught they're "gender fluid" in school - that will all add up.

Once it hits home - once their little girl is perved on by some horny "girl" with an erect penis in her locker room, even some Progressive men will turn on the Dems. They probably won't vote GOP, but they might not vote and donate Dem.

So passage of the Equality Act will have far-reaching consequences. Global consequences, because the next Trump won't be a bumbling, narcissistic grifter, he will be the end of the US as we know it, and since the US has a large role to play in things like international treaties on the environment, stopping the next pandemic, etc., the US president has outsize power over the world.

Here is the information you need; please read and then call your congressional representative immediately. Identify yourself as a gay/lesbian/bisexual. If you're NOT conservative, tell them.

I wrote an actual LETTER(!) to my congressional representative, and Biden, about both this and the associated Executive Order, a couple weeks ago. Told them that I was a bisexual woman, liberal/progressive; that this legislation would hurt both of the vulnerable groups to which I belong, and why. Said that I voted for Biden/Harris despite being worried about this, because I believed that, in the end, they'd reconsider and do the right thing: vote against the Equality Act and abandon the EO.

Thinking about sending a copy to my senator, too (she's got more status, and probably stronger feminist credentials, than my rep in congress).

Thank you so much!

Please do send a copy to both your senators, because the Democrats and Biden are determined to fast track the Equality Act before anyone knows what's in it. So after the Equality Act passes the House, the Democrats will do their best to get it through the Senate.

Please also call your House and Senate representatives! It takes a few minutes but it let's your representatives know that you care deeply about what kind of gay-bashing shit they're passing with the Equality Act.

I also just finished writing a variation on the same letter (slightly longer-- gave some examples of the harm that "gender identity" is already doing to women/LGB people, & children) to the congressional rep who introduced the Equality Act: David Cicilline, D-RI.

Even if he's not your rep (he's not mine either), you guys may want to contact him about this; could help that he's gay himself. Is he willing to respect a Gayden's "gender identity" by dating her? Press X to doubt! So why is he initiating legislation that would make it easier for her to pressure him into it?

I hate Equality Act pusher, Congressman David Cicilline and I'm not a hater. I think it was someone on feminist forum Ovarit.com who said he was not someone who cared about women at all, which is obvious.

I have contacted David Cicilline's office about the Equality Act and I spoke with a nice young man on the phone about how the Equality Act was a threat to gay rights.

This is because if the legal definition of "sex" includes all 7 billion "gender identities" there is no way to define "homosexual" "same-sex attraction" "sexual orientation," etc., so how can the laws protecting gay men on the basis of sex be interpreted correctly or at all?

Apparently, the Democrats in power are determined to get the Equality Act through, future elections be damned. Those checks from Big Pharma, Soros, Buffett, the Strykers, the Pritzkers and the creepy autogynephiles funding gender ideology must be enormous for the Democrats to choose the Hill of Gender to be the one the Democratic party is going to die on.

RIP Democrats - you screwed gays, women, children, parents, biology and free speech. Too bad the Democrats losing for the next 50 elections is going to screw the rest of us too.

Good luck, Yanks.

I know no one here likes FinkNews, but I thought this article summarized the chances of it passing pretty well.
