That's basically the underlying assumption behind all this TQ+ shit: that being a man and loving a man makes you something other than male, especially if your mannerisms are atypical of your sex. It's the same 1980s douche-jock mentality with a larger vocabulary and an equally damaging outcome. But this assumption falls apart once you scrutinize it carefully. Assuming that gay men and heterosexual women are interchangeable is also misogynistic because it wrongly assumes women only exist to please men sexually.

Anyway, when these stories came out, people flailed around trying to figure out what to call these men. Were they gay because they liked sexual partners who have dicks, or were they straight because a hole is a hole and a hole wearing a dress is almost like a woman, so who cares? (This is not me saying this, this was the general sentiment. Like, there was a difference between fucking a man in a man costume, and fucking a man in a woman costume, the latter was significantly less gay, for some reason, but in this article, the writer seems to be of the opinion that it's equally gay.) And no one ever said... What about bisexual? It's like that wasn't even an option. These two men were either gay or straight, but definitely not bi. What is bi? That doesn't exist.

So anyway, back to what you're saying, it occurs to me that the people saying this stuff forget that tops and versatiles exist. I can understand the leap in logic, to think that wishing to be penetrated = woman, but how about wishing to be the penetrator of men? How does that = woman? And what about the gay men who don't want to have penetrative sex?

This theory smells like another one that's been cooked up by clueless toddlers who have no idea what they are talking about.

I remember that Eddie Murphy thing. It also happened to be around the time of Mulan, whom the TQ+ people have wrongly tried to appropriate for themselves, while the recent remake has gotten Disney complicit in human rights violations for shooting at a concentration camp and thanking them in the credits.

Straight men don’t want to have sex with us gay men because we’re men. Straight men want vaginas, and natural boobs, which gay men lack. Straight men don’t want penises, which gay men have. And even if a gay man lost his penis in an accident, what is left of his crotch are the roots of a penis, so the structures for the penis are still in place. Obviously a masculine gay man is not going to appeal to straight men. But straight men are also going to be way out of the league for even the most effeminate gay man on the planet. The biology that turns straight men off is still present. Now, a lot of TRAs acknowledge that gay men are men, because obviously they want straight women to transition as well. But some TRAs have internalised homophobia. A gay man who transitioned into a woman and is having second thoughts about the change is going to jump through mental gymnastics to suppress these thoughts. Even if it means believing in the delusion that transgenderism is a cure for homosexuality. But TRAs in general want as many sex changes as possible because it profits the pharmaceutical corporations who fund the TRAs.

A gay man who transitioned into a woman and is having second thoughts about the change is going to jump through mental gymnastics to suppress these thoughts. Even if it means believing in the delusion that transgenderism is a cure for homosexuality. But TRAs in general want as many sex changes as possible because it profits the pharmaceutical corporations who fund the TRAs.

The only thing being "cured" is normal sexual function. The medical industrial complex wastes time and money on this crap that could be spent on figuring how to treat people with no health care and developing technologies to cure disease and make broken organs work again.

So the trans-dumbassery goes as follows: "man" = the male gender-role; "woman" = the female gender-role. If you fit the female gender-role, you are by definition a woman. The female gender-role requires attraction to men, and exhibiting various behavioral qualities coded "feminine". Ergo, if you are attracted to men, especially should you exhibit any of these "feminine" qualities... you are a woman. (Never mind your dick & balls.) A STRAIGHT woman, of course. So you'll want to attract straight men. Which is no problem, since you're already the right gender! Just pile on all the cultural symbols for "female" (women's clothes, hairstyles, makeup; "girly" mannerisms; boob-job, perhaps accompanied by inside-out dick), and you're good to go.

What I've been wondering for a while now is whether transgenderism's intrinsic homophobia may be its undoing. (PLEASE god, let this abomination HAVE one!...) Say that the gay-male "transwomen" start thinking that they can show the kind of sexual entitlement towards straight men that the "transbians" do towards lesbians. Of course the het dudes won't stand for that. Which women and LGB people have long thought (and hoped) would be the breaking point, but perhaps that'll really come when... the het dudes with LADYFEELZ join them. In attacking those gay men. Whom both groups of straight bros despise. You know the slurs they'll hurl, and the contempt they'll display. Because, when all is said and done... trans is a straight man's game.

And then the trans movement will rupture. Gay men on one side; straight fetishists on the other. Which will hopefully break its back for good.

Does this scenario seem plausible to anyone else? Or just so much wishful thinking on my part?

They actually kind of already do. I went down a trans women youtube hole sometime ago and discovered the pastime of "stealthing" - dating men w/o revealing they're trans. Its basically bragging rights regarding they're appearance - they pass to straight men.

Their ideas of manhood are so fragile that a single act of penetrative sex with the same sex can ultimately shatter them completely. The sexist assumption that "being penetrated = being female" is at the root of it.

Actually I often do attract self proclaimed """straight""" guys because of my looks, but, I am an outlier so I guess I'm not surprised they get confused. (They still tend to be assholes about it though.)
