Just launched on Valentine's Day. Here is LGB Fight Back's twitter:

https://twitter.com/LGBFightBack

Already protesting! Here they are outside Children's Hospital LA. holding signs saying "Stop Transing LGB Kids"

Wow - this is just the type of in-your-face activism that will get results!

Why can't you all just organize under one banner?

The LGB Alliance seems to have it figured it out. Make branches of their organization here in the US!

Good to see more fight against the madness. 💪🏻

Oh great! Another meaningless, half-assed "feel good" organization with no concrete plans to help anyone in need & expects donations. Just what we needed.

LGB FIGHT BACK held a number of demonstrations across the US today, its launch day; I would call that impressive.

Let me guess, "demonstrations" along the lines of "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" or "BREXIT MEANS BREXIT" - meaningless emotionally charged statements that don't actually achieve anything that benefits anyone, right?

I'll be impressed when they set out to help struggling homosexuals or other people badly affected by the LGBT. But I'm betting you they won't.

On their very first day, LGB FIGHT BACK allied with parents of kids (including gay kids) who suddenly claimed to be transgender to put on demonstrations across the US. It's on their website and on their twitter account, with many pictures to prove it.

I have tremendous respect for people who go out and do concrete things to effect change, sometimes at considerable risk to their personal and financial safety, instead of sitting on the internet complaining about the world.

Oh okay, and this helps victims of abuse, homosexuals with extreme depression, people who can't afford housing or food etc... how exactly? Oh wait, it doesn't. It's literally all virtue signalling. And are they going to "fight back" against "LGB" specific issues, such as rabid lesbian extremists who hate all men and refuse to care about homosexual males, or homosexual males being incredibly sexist against women? Nope, because there's no issue there, am I right? Only trans bad.

But fine. Are they going to "fight back" against the horrible oppression that the transgender movement is putting intersex children and adults through, literally forcing them into "sex reassignment" and trying to pass laws so that the government legally recognizes us as "its"? Nope! Not that either.

I also find it funny how you feel the need to capitalize the name; it makes it even more terrible. It's so fucking cringy. Standing around yelling "TRANS BAD, WE LGB HIVEMIND GOOD" isn't "fighting" anything. This won't "effect change" just as radfem lesbians showing up to Pride didn't make anything better. It'd be more worthwhile to take actions as an individual, all that's gonna come from a hyperbolic, stupid "organization" being overdramatic about it is that the rest of us with anti-trans beliefs are going to be further discredited, because our stance is being represented by a bunch of tribalist goons yelling about how trans is bad and "LGB" is a godsend, without actually tackling the issues. If you made light of the actual medical abuse that some people are put through thanks to trans ideology, then you might get somewhere, because I don't think that's something sane people can ignore, even if they've been manipulated into believing that accepting trans is the "tolerant" thing to do. I think most sane people will ignore hyperbolic slogans and mindless yelling, however.

[–]BEB[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't know that they're yelling. But LGB FIGHT BACK (or rather LGB fight back) are outside hospitals that transition children and they are specifically mentioning that gay children are being transitioned.

This appears to be their focus for now. In the US, which is where this group is, we have the Equality Act and Congressman Ted Lieu's bill banning gender conversion therapy bearing down on us to destroy the lives of gays and gay children, so perhaps that's why lgb fight back feel they need to address this first?

And I don't know if you know that gay rights and specifically getting funding for AIDs research involved a lot of mindless yelling and publicity stunts. ACT UP pulled stunts much more dramatic and much louder than this lot has tried yet. And ACT UP got results, as the hundreds of thousands of gay men who didn't get HIV, or who can now live with it, can attest.

As your interest is in intersex children and adults, and lgb fight back seem to know a lot about what the transgender movement is doing, probably including its usage of intersex as "evidence" that biological sex "isn't" dimorphic, you could contact them and share your knowledge with them and perhaps get them interested in your cause?

[–]OPPRESSED_REPTILIANIntersex male | GNC | Don't call me "a gay", "twink" or "queen" 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh yes, because that totally prevents medical abuse. Why, perhaps I should go stand outside hospitals BRAVELY & WOKELY for hours where I know they butcher intersex infants, because merely STANDING will definitely get people to change their minds. Why waste time trying to educate peopel WHY it's abuse and inhumane, when I could just beg for donations to my new "organization" that just stands outsides hospitals for a bit and calls ourselves woke & stunning heroes? Truly inspiring.

Hyperbole. Do I think that bill is nonsense? Yes. Do I think it's dangerous? Yes! Is it "LITERALLY DESTROYING THE LIVES OF THE GAYS?!" No. That's retarded.

Also, "gay children" don't exist. Children don't have a concept of this. "Gay children" is as creepy as a concept as "trans children" and is borderline pedophilic.

And I don't know if you know that gay rights and specifically getting funding for AIDs research involved a lot of mindless yelling and publicity stunts

But it didn't, though, that's rewritten and romantacized history. AIDS broke out because people were too stupid to be responsible, it doesn't just affect homosexual males, and it was researched and treated because it's a disease and that's what people do with diseases. I can't name a single disease that hasn't been treated because it might "get back" at the minorities, that's a fucking stupid idea. It's like saying the fact that we don't have a miracle cure for Ebola is because white scientists are racist & that it was specifically made to target Africans, when really it's just a horrible disease.

Also AIDS isn't gone. I hope you're aware of that. It's still not a good idea to go buttfuck 12 different guys in a back alley nightclub's bathroom, and it never will be. AIDS wasn't some boogeyman virus that magically got to every gay man ever as a targeted attack, it is a STD like any other.

Intersex people don't want nor need LGBT to speak for them. Most of us don't want to be associated with them, period. I don't want fake nonsense groups, in particular, speaking for a serious, REAL issue.

It's bad that trans are using us as an argument point, but trading that for "LGB fight back" using us as an argument point is not any better. We are not simply pawns to be meddled with, we are real people with REAL medical conditions and more issues than "muh gender identity" or "muh brave gay history" because most countries don't even recognize the right to our own bodies, our own sexes, or our privacy. We're considered "things" by a lot of people and many are pushed into becoming guinea pigs and prodded by invasive fingers because we're "weird and fascinating."

Where?

[–]BEB[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

LA, Ontario and a few other cities (maybe Hartford? Chicago?). It's on the LGB Fight Back Twitter along with lots of demonstration pictures.

I think it's fantastic that in the US there's now LGB ALLIANCE and LGB Fight Back because so much gender legislation is being passed under the radar, from the local to the federal level, under the lie that it benefits LGB.

I haven't even seen a donation page.. did you look at their twitter? They are actually doing protests.

It's... on their website. At the top.

And protesting about what, exactly?

[–]dramasexual 10 insightful - 2 fun10 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Transitioning of kids, the "affirmation model," and transition being used as gay conversion therapy.

[–]OPPRESSED_REPTILIANIntersex male | GNC | Don't call me "a gay", "twink" or "queen" 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

So... Something most people are already against, something most people are already against, and something that doesn't actually happen?

What a waste of money and resources.

[–]dramasexual 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Many people are not aware of the harm of the affirmation model or the extremely dubious "science" behind transitioning kids. And if you really think transitioning of gay kids isn't a thing then I've got a bridge to sell you.

Where do you think money and resources should go, then? Raising public support for the LGB cause is fundamental.

[–]OPPRESSED_REPTILIANIntersex male | GNC | Don't call me "a gay", "twink" or "queen" 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

It's not, lol, I've seen more straight kids indoctrinated it more than homosexual ones. Because being "cis" and "het" is bad. And most people ARE aware it's nonsense, believe me, it's just that in Western countries it's been deemed a crime to speak up. People are aware. So that's pointless.

No it's not, because it'd funding a literal lie. Why spend god knows how much money on propaganda for a fake idea (in this case: that lesbian, homosexual male & bisexual people are all magically connected, have rich history and "culture" and are a hivemind, and are also precious and need "saving") when you could be spending that money on caring for people who literally do not have a home or access to food? Or hell, if that's too much because you don't give a fuck about anyone who doesn't fit your idea of "a LGB" then how about funding ways for those of us homosexuals who suffer deeply with mental health issues? Therapy is terrible for sexuality right now because everything is affirmitive and tells you that you're "born this way" even if you want to die. I feel like I will never get better and I know I'm not alone.

Or what about gay male survivors of rampant gay sexual abuse, pedophilia, and prostitution? Do you have any idea how damaging that is for boys (or how damaging sexual abuse is in general?) It's not easy to cope with and again, a lot of therapists are shitty, especially if they find out it's a "gay thing" and they start parroting their pro-LGBT "everything is fine, love is love, be fabulous" unhelpful nonsense. Or they might take the "sex positive" side and insist that the abuse some of us have suffered isn't really abuse, but "empowering."

There are literally infinite better ways to use that money than "visibility" and "spreading the word." Throwing stacks of cash down a toilet is probably more beneficial to someone than that is.

It's just disgusting, as a person who has suffered relentlessly because of my sexuality & the way I have been treated because of it, because of how men have treated me and how the gay community turns a blind eye to abuse & people who are suicidal and want a way out. But I guess that's hardly new, the same reason most people would rather hoard their riches than donate even a fraction to those in need.

At the risk of sounding like a twitter SJW, these "LGB organizations" are run by privileged people, for privileged people. As usual, those of us who are misfortunate or even just from a different country get trampled over.

money on caring for people who literally do not have a home or access to food

for those of us homosexuals who suffer deeply with mental health issues

These sound like issues for other social movements, like subsidized mental health care, food and housing, and not LGB ones.

Or what about gay male survivors of rampant gay sexual abuse, pedophilia, and prostitution?

Ok this sounds like a really good cause for us to take up, for sure. What would you like to see an LGB organization do about this?

As usual, those of us who are misfortunate or even just from a different country get trampled over.

Are you angry that a political organization in another country funded by people in that country is focusing on issues specific to that country instead of on yours? That does not seem reasonable to me.

Guess I missed it, thanks for the heads up.

I'm still glad they're actually doing protests.

I'd hardly call that a "protest."
