The transgenders agreeing in the comments 😂 as if they have so many women wanting to fuck them that they even have the option to choose. Must be a hard life having to be day and night rejecting lesbians, oh yeah the lesbians don’t give them a break.

The comment thread on “TERFs” being obsessive Ayn Rand fans is something else. Every single lesbian I know irl is a terf to them because she won’t fuck a male. Yet, I haven’t ever encountered a single, solitary lesbian who’s an aggressive Ayn Rand fan girl with multiple copies of her works.

But, like, have they even read Rand? Or are they just piling on the hate because “Reddit says Rand is bad and TERFs are bad so obviously TERFs love Ayn Rand”

[–]diapason 24 insightful - 1 fun24 insightful - 0 fun25 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

I'm guessing they haven't even read any of her work, or if they did, they didn't bother trying to understand it. I think it's just Reddit's habit of bandwagoning on hating things even if you aren't familiar with them

I’ve never read anything by Ayn Rand (I don’t think she’s very popular over here) but I know Reddit has a hate boner for her. What’s the TL;DR?

[–]TheBeefBenson 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Very Libertarian philosopher whose main reasoning was that unproductive people, the government, wish to steal the labor of productive people, the capitalists, and they hide behind the concept of alturism to do it. Not all her points were great not all were bad, but she isn't considered a controversial writer... just a really bad writer. Because although her philosophical reasoning isn't terrible, her writing really is. It's rare to meet a libertarian who actually likes Atlas Shrugged.

Where they're getting this connection with Ayn Rand to Radical Feminists is really beyond me, though. I think it's a product of the hive-mind churning up faux hate for anything to the right of whatever political opinions twitter tells them to have that particular week.

[–]Archie 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

One of the flagships of libertarians. Basically anti government, anti social system, anti any kind of protection for the most vulnerables in our society, which she despised anyway.

Most of reddit probably hasn't read her rags, but they're accidentally right on the issue.

Ok, that’s a 24 sec clip taken from a 30 min interview. That’s part of a broader clip where she’s explaining that she loves her husband for his virtues, not his weaknesses...

[–]Archie 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

That context does not redeem the sentence "the weaks are unworthy of love", it just means she thought her husband was not a part of that group, however she defined it.

[–]fuck_reddit 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (4 children)

Oh they would hate rand. I mean, the TERF said there’s an objective reality that can be known through reason! That’s TERF rhetoric!

[–]ArthnoldManacatsaman🇬🇧🌳🟦 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It's a sad day when 'there is an objective reality' is a controversial statement outside philosophy departments.

[–]fuck_reddit 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Well.... I'm about to ruin your day, cause that statement is probably most controversial in philosophy departments...

[–]ArthnoldManacatsaman🇬🇧🌳🟦 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

That's what I meant. In philosophy departments it's expected to be a controversial statement for complicated philosophical reasons ordinary people don't understand.

Outside philosophy departments it shouldn't be controversial to call something that looks, swims, and quacks like a duck, a duck.

Actually, in general, dating bigots is just awful, I expect, must be awful having to date someone so hateful; I couldn’t do it

Proceeds to write a lengthy and hateful scree about lesbians

A lot of the lesbian-identified transphobic bigot brigade are “political lesbians”, i.e. celibate straight women, and honestly, I like to fuck and these chicks don’t fuck.

Lesbians don’t fuck men regardless of how they identify, but we’re very happy to fuck women on a frequent basis.

I bet they think food with onions in it is a bit too spicy

Their entire rant is nothing but bizarre and unfounded accusations, but this was the pinnacle. I don’t even know what to say. I’m just going to go back to eating my chips and habanero salsa.

I think it is supposed to be an insult about being white, since in many countries, white people eat less spicy food and are more sensitive to it. They think we are all white. Which is also funny given that the AL demographics survey showed that like 80-90% of their sub is white, hahaha.

[–]julesburm1891 11 insightful - 6 fun11 insightful - 5 fun12 insightful - 6 fun -  (3 children)

Even with this perspective, it still doesn’t make sense. Have they spent any time around other white people? We’ll eat a whole ass onion if it’s fried and refuse to share with anyone.

[–]fuck_reddit 6 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 0 fun7 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

That’s what I was thinking. I love onions so much it never even dawned on me they could be considered “spicy.”

[–]julesburm1891 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Yes. And most savory European and white American dishes rely on onions. They’re a fundamental ingredient that no one considers spicy.

[–]CuntWorshiperWomenholic full time | vagina fetishist part-time 5 insightful - 3 fun5 insightful - 2 fun6 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Ha! I’m mixed, I’m South American and I can’t eat anything spicy. The most spicy thing I’ve ever ate was Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos.. I vomited, it gave me runny nose, my eyes couldn’t stop tearing and my friends said this wasn’t even the spiciest Cheetos. Guess I’m a frigid. 🤷🏽‍♀️

[–]PenseePansyBio-Sex or Bust 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Well, I certainly qualify as Pretty Damn White (entirely of Northern European ancestry from what I can tell)... and am an onion/spices devotee. Since forever. Also adore garlic. Standard American food is WAY too bland for me. All that salt-- where's the cracked black pepper??? And paprika and coriander and everything??? One of my fave recipes uses ALL the Indian spices in the spice rack (plus onion, garlic, jalapeno pepper, and lemon juice). Grated ginger root is a mainstay at my house.

This seems to be a wokester preoccupation of late: saw something similar at Pajiba (lefty pop-culture site) before all their fanatical trans-evangelism drove me off for good. "These are the foods that WHITE PEOPLE [boo, hiss] eat!" (I'd never touched most of 'em in my life.) "So they're BAD! Ever had Rum Raisin Ice Cream, or mayonnaise, or cream of wheat? REPENT, SINNER!!!" ["Um, but I'm black, and I like Rum Raisin Ice Cream...?" "Oh, uh, well, that's fine of course! Duh! But otherwise TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE OMG YOU MUST BE A NAZI!!!"] "And obviously nothing here that's SPICY, white people recoil from THAT like vampires from a crucifix, only sexy exotic people with lots of MELANIN can handle hot stuff!"

The irony is, my tastes probably have something to DO with being white... specifically, German-American (in part): grew up, if not on that cuisine proper, on food heavily-influenced by its enthusiastic use of cracked black pepper, spices in general, garlic... and onions. Quite a departure from British-style cooking. But then, that's true of so much "white people" food: Italian, Spanish, French, etc...

I think a long time ago a black comedian made a joke about white people not putting spice in their rice or something, and these racists have been milking that joke ever since. Which is amazing because a lot of the people who keep pushing this stereotype are white themselves. They have no idea at all about history. The Americas were literally "discovered" because white people couldn't get their hands on enough spice because the Ottomans were cockblocking their access to China/India. They tried to go around Africa to get to the spice, and then risked falling off the edge of the earth by going the opposite way towards imminent and unknown doom just to get to that delicious spice. White people love spice! These people are crazy!

The white people who go "white people bad!" the most hilarious kinds of racists who think when the purge happens, we're going to say "Oh you were one of the good whites that called out the bad whites, so you get a pass!"

How did BDSM got trendy? Sigh... I think I generally know.

People trying to shoehorn themselves into a variety of sexual activities they don't actually have any intrinsic interest in... It's okay to not want to do BDSM, people. Not enjoying BDSM does not make you a bad person--I had to explain this to someone the other day.

It is funny to see them call us obsessive and hateful, when trans people are literally transforming their entire identity in submitting to their mental disorder, and they and their allies constantly bang on about how much they hate us and how we should be punched or whatever. I don't hate trans people. I think they have been misguided, have been sold a lie about how their "gender identity" is the objective reality, and are in need of mental help that isn't endless trans reaffirmation, but I don't hate them. And the "allies" just don't want to feel their wrath, let's be real.

More on topic however... there are so many weird and funny assumptions in this thread which I can barely make heads and tails of.

If lesbians wanted to date someone with the opinions and analysis of some reddit incel dude, we wouldn't be lesbians and the incels would be getting laid.

Pretty hilarious and probably unintentional, but they are correct about that one-- some transwomen are successful at pressuring women to have sex with them, and the women who voluntarily sleep with them are probably not lesbians...

I feel very sorry for the young actual lesbians who stumble across that sub. Many of them must end up very confused and no doubt coerced into relationships with transmonsters, completely unable to understand why they just can't get used to sucking and being penetrated by dick. Sickening.

The funny part of that thread is that they focus on the most tiny, obscure, crazy people that even we don't agree with, a minority among us, but when we question them on what insane things they say, a majority among them, they say that is just a few people. They always accuse us of the things they do.

It's becoming increasingly clear that the only time it's ok to identify 'as a cis lesbian' is if you a) are writing a post/twitter thread in defense of transbians or b) if you're a transbian's girlfriend, so the transbian can use it as proof that all other cis lesbians would have sex with transbians and those who don't have a genital preference = 'terfy'.

Instead it seems many real lesbians call themselves pansexual and nonbinary and pretend they only have relationships with females out of pure coincidence.
