People are racist to black women for just existing. People are racist to south asian women for just existing. What in the actual fuck do those two things have to to with "trans liberation"? Trans people aren't just existing, they are doing a whole fucking lot more, and we are all supposed to just put up with their mental illness and coddle them.

Why do they always have to do this? Well I guess it's because they can't exist without piggy backing off other minority groups but what's being said in that tweet is so obviously not the same thing. Trans women are not biologically female. This isn't hate. It's a fact. And saying this is also not 'policing' womanhood either.

This is so gross. They always do this and it’s infuriating and super racist. It goes to show what they actually think of women. Literally no one besides them thinks that any one race of women is masculine. Even the most butch woman of any race is still more of a woman than these guys will ever be.

Tbh, I’m not really sure why OP is singling out south Asian women for facial hair. It’s a pretty common thing across races, which is why facial hair trimmers and hair removal cream are marketed fairly heavily to all women. (Most of the women I know, myself included, have some kind of hair trimmer since we’ve been taught since adolescence to feel embarrassed if we have any hair on our upper lip.)

Anyways, the difference between a woman with heavier facial hair and a transwoman is that the former is a woman and the latter is a man pretending to be a woman. Maybe OP should get over his weird racial generalizations, not use women’s self-esteem issues as props, and leave LGB people about of his racist shit. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not even sure what Abigal is trying to say with 'her' tweet'. Women of all races have always been held to unrealistic and restrictive standards of beauty and behaviour. How is this a trans thing?

Wow! Impressed by how much fucked-up-ness he managed to pack into just 36 words!

First, the things he's citing as examples (black women being disapproved of for their supposed "mannishness"/"aggressiveness", and South Asian women for their supposedly-conspicuous facial hair) have never been taken to mean that such women aren't actually women. White American slave-owners didn't doubt for a second which of their human property were the ones who had the babies. No, these are infractions of the female gender-role in one specific area: "thou shalt be attractive to men". That is, deferential and decorative (i.e., meeting the beauty standard). Which is legit insulting (it trivializes women, and requires that even lesbians cater to male sexuality). So... yay?

But then why does he ONLY mention black and South Asian women? ALL women are bound by these rules, and few of us measure up (and even then, never for long).

Oh, that's because he's looking at it from a specific POV: white and western (so that's the standard and anything else automatically falls short)... and approving of the Mandatory Attractiveness rule. So he thinks that the problem here is... that black/South Asian women aren't (supposedly) regarded as highly-attractive to (white, western) MEN. Meaning that they just ain't fuckable enough. Because that's what REALLY being a women is, to him: pretty and desirable... a sex object.

Oh yes, THAT'S what black and South Asian women need to be "liberated" from: the shameful status of not being ideal eye-candy! THE. HORROR. But never fear, "Abigail" will free you to become the PERFECT vessel for male desire! An actual woman... like HIM!

Also, "Abigail": if such rules are no longer enforced by the "gender cops"-- meaning that there's nothing more to womanhood than biology... how's that gonna work out for you?

It is ironic. If we let go of all superficial and awful things to define womanhood, then there won't be much left other than biological facts. This man is shooting himself in the foot, he would actually need these "mannish, undesireable" women in order to "prove" that he is more "womanly" than they are (by racist and sexist standards based on the tastes of straight white men) in order to gain any claim to womanhood. Basically, he needs to have these superficial definitions of womanhood so that he can gain more points than some people who are undisputed women. But if we actually "Liberate WOK," then he'd have nothing he can do to prove himself as a man. The facial hair doesn't make the south asian women manly, her being a woman is what makes here a woman. The black woman isn't less of a woman for being "mannish," she is inherently a woman. And so this straight white male will have nothing to compare himself to in order to claim womanhood.

I mean I know the stereotype that black women don't take shit from anyone and will fight back (good), but I don't think I've ever heard someone call a black woman manly (Except for TRAs trying to weaponize them).
