We want this to be a safe place for lesbians to talk and share pictures, but unfortunately men think they belong everywhere.

If you question a man as to why he's on a lesbian site, you just get abuse.

... Unless those men start identifying as "women", then suddenly it's all fine and dandy.

They really can't complain about AL being inclusive of everyone when their sub description is literally "a place for cis and trans lesbians, bisexual girls, chicks who like chicks, bi-curious folks, dykes, butches, femmes, girls who kiss girls, birls, bois, aces, anyone in the LGBT+ community, or anyone else interested! We're not a militant or exclusive group, feel free to join up!". You reap what you sow.

In all seriousness-- it's deeply disturbing that there are predators using AL as a way to creep on teenage girls.

There are far more transwomen on AL than actual lesbians. It's not like male socialization disappears once you "identify as a woman." And that's not even mentioning the crossover between transwomen and the incel community.

I tried to read through the comments, and of course they're pandering to men saying they're allowed on the sub. Smh. "Dads come here to ask about their daughters"... they should be redirected to AskLesbians then. Those men are likely not even dads. Women in general need to stop welcoming men into their spaces with opened arms and legs.

I usually tag anyone who admits they're a transbian so I can easily see how many there are in threads like this. That thread has at least 7 transbians posting throughout it.

... No, I don't actually believe that, but they do. And the double standard is absurd to me. You can't both say that men are bad and not allowed in your space and that anyone can be a lesbian and be included in your space if they identify this way.

Can we honestly say we didn't see this coming? There are so many kids on that sub wanting to talk about sex and explore (as teens will). But without any real policing it makes it easy for men to bait these kids and groom them.

The influx of trans women there has made male behaviour the norm, and made it harder to kick out anyone who is acting suss. All a man has to do is say he is pre hrt and identifies as trans. Then he's good to go. The mods won't do anything either, they're up in their necks with it too.
