And there's the difference between LGB and the T. LGB is a truth, an inherent part of who we are, it is something measureable and cannot be changed without violating essential human rights. The T, on the other hand, does not exist without society. It is not an inherent part of oneself, it is a reaction to a culture. The exact same person raised in different parts of the world will have no consistency with being cis vs trans (unless they never end up trans) but sexuality will be the same no matter what culture someone is put into. Lesbains aren't so becuase of catcalling or hatred of periods, gay men aren't so because of expectations about masculinity. But transgenders are always born of such situations. They never choose to be trans unless presented with a undesireable situation that makes transition seem to be the solution
