Ffs. As a vegan, the most I've to deal with is edgy idiots who still think that hating on vegans is fashionable and lol so fun. It's annoying, but that's all The reason why I haven't told my family yet that I'm same sex attracted? Because when I told them that a former female friend was married to a woman years ago, my dad spent a couple of days making homophobic comments and joking about my friend, as if it were very quirky that she was in a lesbian relationship. That genuinely hurt, knowing that if I ever tell them about myself, my own dad would think of me as a weirdo. I can only imagine how much it hurts for LGB people who have parents and family that would hate them and be disgusted by them.

The vocal types like her don't care. It's a weird mix of moral superiority, boredom, and lack of understanding of human behaviour.

Most vegans don't associate because these people are intolerable. These people fundamentally don't understand that someone can view veganism as ethically superior, but simply not want to do it because they don't care that much (where I am). These people think that you just lack knowledge that veganism is ethically superior, and that if they put in the correct data input into the machine the right output will come out. They view humans are completely rational beings. We're not, I don't really care all that much about the suffering of unknown chickens. I'm sorry but I just don't, and neither do most of us.

Donating money and helping the poor is a ethically moral thing to do, but I'd rather have a nice car and have my Saturdays not spent in a soup kitchen. I can acknowledge something is good, without wanting to doit myself.

I often think that "look at me, I'm vegan" types are actually on the payroll of the Meat Board to make animal rights look bad.

I do not get why anyone would make a video comparing veganism and homosexuality. Of course, I don't get why anyone in the West uses Chinese spyware TikTok. Yeah, I said it. Why is she using a Chinese app when China has an abysmal record on animal rights?
