The Author of that 'article' Mey Rude is a basic white bloke pretending to be a POC 'lesbian' who back in December tweeted "I won't stop until every lesbian is trans or dating a trans person". Mentally fucked up fetishist doesn't even begin to cover it. I am somewhat disappointed that out.com is continuing its decent into the shitter though.

Transracial transwoman? I would not be surprised if he is paedo trans-aged too.

All of them are getting voices, while homosexual people are silenced and deplatformed.

He writes for OUT. The trolliest-sounding wackos in the movement work for legitimate mainstream organizations.

So far 2021 is just proving to me again why I took another look at Ms. Cyrus and decided she was worthy of respect.

I hope she blows this off and makes no apologies.

Whenever I hear about a celebrity cancellation, I've taken to Google recently just to see if searching the celeb's name generates any major headlines about the "incident." The outcome of that experiment shapes my understanding of whether the cancellation is as widespread as it seems, or whether it's localized to a few activists on Twitter. Luckily there's nothing about Miley Cyrus being "cancelled" on Google right now. (Sia's cancellation, by comparison, was heavily covered by publications.)

When did Sia get canceled?

[–]PassionateIntensity 7 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

A month or so ago. She made a movie about autism and the autists aren't happy.

They were considering cancelling Eddie Izzard, but then they couldn't.

I mean, it's hard to tell from the trailer, but it looks like your standard 'aren't people with mental disabilities inspiring and special', when A) the reality of living with autism (both carers and people with autism) is mentally/emotionally draining at best, and B) she's behaving as if she's got a few more other developmental disabilities/issues, not just autism on its own.

It also doesn't help that Sia didn't do an ounce of research online and didn't realise Autism Speaks is a terribly harmful organisation that treats autism as if it's curable, which it isn't. Just five minutes on Google brings up results about the horrible things they promote and scare tactics they use to frighten parents into thinking that their child will essentially ruin their lives if they're not cured.

Sorry for the quick rant, but I hope this clears things up a bit.

Miley Cyrus's 'damn the torpedoes' attitude towards this kinda reminds me of her talking about quitting veganism on jre: https://youtu.be/XKOY3O8q2jg And if 'Miley Cyrus' and 'Vegan' is searched on youtube you can see many of the biggest Vegan Influencers on there going after her just like she said they would.

Funny, you never hear transbians slammed for their 'genital preferences'.

BTW, I love seeing articles like this. Just put the crazy out there front and center for everyone to see. These idiots will be so confused when people start to adopt the 'TERF' mantle as a badge of honor.

[–]reluctant_commenter 18 insightful - 3 fun18 insightful - 2 fun19 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, way to spread awareness about radical feminism... 99% of the people called a "TERF" these days aren't even feminists, let alone radical feminists.

[–]GreykittymommaMagical lady 💜 18 insightful - 4 fun18 insightful - 3 fun19 insightful - 4 fun -  (0 children)

I was just thinking about that. Being called a terf isn't so bad I'm not necessarily a radical feminist but I don't mind excluding trans people from my spaces. I detest being called cis because that is fucking stupid. I was born female. No need to explain anymore. Female says it all my friend. I am a woman. It really is that easy. Doesn't matter that I don't wear high heels, makeup or any of that "girly" crap. Still. A. Lady.

Just thinking that same thing. Give them a biiiiiiiiiig platform so everyone can see this.

The more they call everything and everyone "transphobic," the faster everyone will get sick of it and just roll their eyes. TRAs are shooting themselves in the feet because they just can't help but scream about it day in and day out.

[–]mvmlego 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Don't hold your breath on that. Conservatives have been hoping the same thing would happen with the word "racist" for around a decade now, but organizations like Yelp are still taking every complaint of racism they receive at face value.

I'm confused why she's even comparing breasts to balls. Is this a bisexual thing??

[–]Three_oneFourWanted for thought crimes in countless ideologies 19 insightful - 3 fun19 insightful - 2 fun20 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

It is a bit odd. The groin area should be compared between sexes and the chest area should be compared between sexes, but to compare one's groin to the other's chest? I suppose if she particularly likes both but likes breasts more, then it would be a valid comparison?

[–]PeakingPeachEaterfemale♀ | detrans🦎 | eater of peaches 🍑 14 insightful - 5 fun14 insightful - 4 fun15 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

Because they're both round....and squishy. ಠ◡ಠ Except if you squish one then you're a dick, no pun intended.

Naw, idk that comparison doesn't make sense. Just Hannah Montana Miley being Miley, not a bisexual thing. I don't compare balls to breasts...nor dick to vaginas/vulvas, nor male pecs to boobs.

But asses are nice, whether male or female.

Yes, they’re going after celebrities now. These people cannot help themselves. Hopefully celebrities will stand up for themselves, but a lot of celebs are vain and want to be liked. But we’ll see.

Well, maybe this will finally peak those gay/bi guys on twitter that are perfectly fine with homophobia but go mad when their pop divas receive any minor criticism.

[–]SnowAssMan 20 insightful - 2 fun20 insightful - 1 fun21 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Yet more evidence that "transphobe" is just a synonym for 'man-hater'.

Oh it's "Mey Rude" again -- the straight white man posing as a lesbian of color. If he didn't write for fucking OUT, I would just ignore him. Are there any gay people left at OUT? Their sports editor is also a transbian.

The more the wider public is alerted to the TRAs rapeyness, the better.

[–]reluctant_commenter 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I agree, although we do have the trouble that, LGB people are being used as a meatshield for transgender ideology-- people may condemn us by association.

[–]MyLongestJourney 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Oh,some people will.

[–]dippintots 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Honestly it is a vast minority of people who really get upset at things like this (people's personal preferences). I can sympathize with transgenderism but it is frustrating that some louder advocates think like this.

[–]8bitgay 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Maybe the loud advocates are a minority. But there is a large amount of people who are condoning this vocal minority, sharing their views, supporting them, etc. And I'm not talking only about TQ+ people, unfortunately lots of LGB people also do this.

For every anti-LGB tweet out there, there are thousands of people who might not write such tweets themselves but are glad to like and share them.

[–]MezozoicGayoldschool gay[S] 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Maybe the loud advocates are a minority.

But laws are changed and rewriten to cater them, not to help the rest.

[–]reluctant_commenter 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I sympathize with people who fall prey to transgender ideology as well. But, I think that although pieces like this are on the extreme end, they are natural consequences of such a profoundly bigoted, boundary-erasing ideology.

[–]filbs111 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

To suggest that people shouldn't prefer breasts to balls is in itself deeply problematic. Why else would you have the operations?
