Again, I keep thinking we need a s/TransTheGayAway...

I have never moderated a sub before in my life but am tempted to start one.

And yet you'd be better than any Reddit mod. Less is more. Totally agree that we need a sub like that.

Aw thanks, that's really kind of you to say :) although then again it's a super low bar with the likes of Nekosune and Laurelai out there, LOL.

Totally agree that we need a sub like that.

You think so too? Then maybe if I will have time I'll start to plan it. Right now I have identified 3-4 example posts that could go on it. I want to make sure there would be enough content for it-- like, very clear examples in which a L/G/B person is pressured to identify as trans.

Oh there will be plenty of examples. There was one posted on s/LGBDroptheT from r/AL where trans creeps used grooming language with a lesbian OP who said she knew she was a lesbian and not a man but that she considered trans identification solely to escape the complications of dealing with same sex attraction. And one of the top comments was basically “wouldn’t it be easier for you to be trans?” She called it out saying “Never do that again” and the trans creeps defended it, and said she was over-reacting.

And then the subreddit r/egg_IRL is a goldmine of this as they constantly speculate that gay men are all really “eggs.”

Another thing to include: everything about Susie Green of Mermaids including her creepy Ted Talk, which has made it clear that her son wanted to be a girl because the father couldn’t stand having an effeminate likely gay son.

I think also the article Inauthentic Selves has some good source material when talking about the trans kid narrative. This “trans the gay away” aspect really resonates with more masculine lesbians from my experience. Especially the Trans Kids documentary that I have yet to see but have heard about.

Ugh, this trans shit is truly insidious.

The comments... "my boyfriend and I have been every letter of LGBT", "we laugh about the time I thought I was a lesbian" 😟😟😟

What is it with these "woke" versions of Wojak comics recently. I don't get it

Can we also talk about the childishness of the one person’s declaration “I’ve loved you for a long time” preceding the other‘s asking if she’ll go out on a date? What are these 8-year old conceptions of romance? These have to be absolute children. And what would they be up to if not for this gender stuff? What do kids even do anymore? My childhood was downright wholesome in comparison. I was just participating in Harry Potter RPGs on the Internet lol.
