DiscussionQuestion: Is it fine to post about small LGB subreddits/communities that align with our views because they're relevant-- or not, because giving them exposure here might get them banned?

I'm mixed, because on the one hand, it's nice to have documented how many LGB subreddits are getting censored and shut down, and also I like to lurk on them. On the other hand, I would feel bad if I posted about a cool sub here and then the woke brigade saw it and got them shut down. But maybe that's inevitable anyway.

Thoughts?

edit: I found this cool small lesbians subreddit that I haven't seen on any hit lists yet, message me if you want the name.

Posting about them might speed things up but they'll be banned either way.

I'm quite a bit worried about them being banned/brigaded. Like it or not, creepy TRAs stalked us here (as par for the course....) and I would not want to give them more power trip target practices.

AHS already knows about them. I subscribed to AFABLesbians (4 weeks old, restricted, 61 members) when I saw it mentioned on AHS lol

Pretty disgusting if you ask me, tested them out to see if they include our sisters, only to get downvoted for asking questions on if transwomen were allowed.

Holy shit. That's ridiculous, those are tiny subs. And I thought I spent too much time online... Transwomen must feel really, really threatened if they are trying to root out 60-subscriber subreddits. Like wow. That is a super disproportionate response.

Joke's on them, we can all re-organize off of reddit. :)

That's the eternal paradox, isn't it? At one point, we get a new place to lurk, on the other, it'll be brigaded daily for a month and then get banned from an AHS false flag.

Do NOT mention those subs on here. TRAs stalk this place and absolutely will go out of their way to get any and all radfem communities banned. Doesn’t matter how big or small it is. People on here have mentioned other sites where radfems get together and within a few days, people’s accounts (on those sites) were banned or were brigaded. Also, be careful who you decide to give info to through private messages.

These are not radfem communities and nor is droptheT, they are just LGB-specific ones. But they do brigade many non-radfem communities as well. I guess what I was wondering though is, aren't these communities likely to get the axe eventually, anyway?

I know of one female catered sub that is radfem leaning/has quite a bit of radfems in it, but the sub doesn’t coddle or support transgenderism (it’s not a radfem sub and has been around for some time). While it’s true that a lot of terfy subs get the axe anyway, it is possible for these types of communities to thrive, and its only because they’ve been kept unknowingly from TRAs to ban for so long.
