    Agreed, especially because these issues didn't actually start or end with Trump. I remember the early days of the 2016 Republican primary when he said that he would let trans people use whatever bathroom they wanted in his hotels and other buildings. I think that Trump would have been socially moderate if cable news media didn't try so hard to vilify him--which just ended up alienating him into aligning with people like Pence.

    As I said, it's not as if Trump being out of office is actually going to satisfy the TRAs, either. Regarding the Senate runoffs in Georgia, Biden has said, "The lives of Georgian still depend on what you’re doing. Yes, you still need to vote as if your life depends on it, because it does." It was never really about Trump; it was about the R after his name. At least Trump being gone will be one less excuse the TRAs can use to distract from the issues.
