That's exactly it. Shouldn't TRAs be condemning bottom surgery as "transphobic"? Shouldn't they be trying to convince the trans people who do get bottom surgery that it's just "internalized transphobia" and that their penis is already female/their vulva is already male?

If bodies aren't inherently gendered, then there's no reason to pursue any sort of medical transition, neither bottom surgery nor HRT. It's a major logical consistency that I've rarely seen challenged much less reconciled. It's an example of the broader logical inconsistency of "gender is made up/oppressive/a social construct and should be eradicated" and also "it's very important for people to alter their bodies to coincide with their gender."
